My wife and I have been going to Dr KONOWAL for the past 20 years and doing this time we have always been very well, but one time we did have a problem with one of her staff members but when we approached her about the issue it was taken care very quickly.

Excellent Ophthamologist
Dr. Konowol is very congenial and approachable. She readily offers explanations for tests and her findings. Responsive to questions and listens actively. Very pleased with her care, and that of her office staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Konowal for many years. I just had Cataract surgery with the PanOptix Len, so pleased with my range of vision. I thoroughly recommend DrKonowal and her staff. I am extremely happy with my new vision.

No regard for patient's time. Showed up for appt. to be told doctor was running TWO hours behind! Re-scheduled for a morning appt. and after preliminary exam by the nurse sat in the exam room over 1/2 hour waiting for the doctor who was "running late." Will not return.

I submitted all the paperwork at least as soon as I received the papers which was a month before my appointment. On the paper I had to write down all my meds and everything I was allergic to. Obviously the papers were not read. I was told that using baby shampoo hadn’t been used in 40 years, and I was told to buy ocusoft and Soothe. I had a mild reaction to the first and a horrible burning reaction to the Soothe. I guess the old fashion meds are better.

As happy as I was with Dr, Konowal and most of her staff will not use her practice because of her office manager Ms. Karen. The words that come to my mind is not something I would put in writing. She (Ms. Karen) does not belong working with people. Rude would be an understatment. Shame on her.

I had a retina, tear and she saw me the same day. She referred me to their retina, surgeon, Dr. Richard Sherman who performed laser surgery the next day. All records were sent to my Maryland OD and laser surgeon who were clear about my care. With confidence, I recommend the practice.
