He was blunt and rude with a “I know best” attitude. He made a misinformed recommendation regarding medications I’ve been on for 2yrs. It seemed like he didn’t review my chart for more than a minute and yet he felt he could debunk my previous diagnoses. He also called some of my concerns “irrelevant”. Will not see him again.

I consider Dr. Shar to be an excellent physician. He listens to concerns. He's thoughtful. He's a wonderful communicator. He gives you 100% of his attention. He displays self confidence, which in turn promote confidence. It's very assuring to know that your doctor knows what he's talking about & doing.

Yes he can seem cold. He is very smart though he may appear impatient at times. He doesn’t show empathy easily but there were tears in his eyes once. I believe he cured me. I am 7 years past treatment now. He won’t coddle patients but I trusted him.

Rude, condescending, arrogant, uncaring, unprofessional. Lacks empathy. More concerned with listening to himself speak. Didn't know a single thing about my medical history. Call an unrelated medical diagnosis "BS". Complete and total waste of time. He shouldn't be practicing medicine anymore. I have yet to see a doctor with less compassion. I am not sure why anyone would keep him on their staff. I guess he forgot about the oath he took.

Horrible Doctor. He's lazy, rude, and sadistic. I have a mystery illness and the diagnosis he gave me doesn't quite fit. I researched based on his dx and when I asked for additional blood work to rule out another possibility, he refused. I pleaded to rule it out and he told me to leave his office. I've been misdiagnosed at Kaiser for 7 months and they finally found an abnormality in my blood. I'm not about to let it go until I'm 100% sure. If you value your health, do not use this doctor.

Cold, unfeeling. Horrific bedside manner. Single worst experience with any doctor during battle with cancer (saw 10 different oncologists over course of year). Wouldn't recommend him to worst enemy. If I could give a lower score, I would. Never forget his face or how unnecessarily cold he was.
