So caring and knowledgeable.
I think the thing that first got my attention was that he cared very much about my condition. He was thoughtful, intelligent, patient with me and my many questions. There was no rush. He immediately scheduled breathing tests and informed me of the results within hours. I am and will be under his care as long as it takes for me to get better. His knowledge of the lungs is amazing and I know I am in good hands. He will do what can be done to reverse the damage to my lungs. I don't think he will give up on me until he does.

Wonderful Doctor with impressive knowledge
In July of 2022 Dr.Schult was able to diagnose me with a very rare disease. His quick diagnosis saved my life!! Our rural hospital did not have equipment to treat my advanced disease progression so he stabilized me in order to have me airlifted to an advanced facility. Even after I left his rural facility, he kept track of my treatment at the hospital he sent me to. He also called my family to check on them because of my grim condition. He saved my life !!! I look forward to office visits with him as he continues to monitor my condition. Dr. Schult is the best doctor I have ever had in my 54 years.

Dr. Schult was my Physician in Charlottesville Virginia for many years. He is by far the best position I have ever seen He is attentive, knowledgeable and caring. I was devastated when he moved away. I think I am going to try and still see him even though he’s over 3 hours away.

Speaking of "great" bedside manners, especially with a new patient, the experience I have had with dozens and dozens of dentists, healthcare providers, surgeon, cardiologists, and psychiatrists is to greet the patient with a subtle feeling of concern or support. Then tell the patient if he had read their file or message from their healthcare provider. Then, ask the patient how he/she feels, because most patients' concerns is related on their mental state This is where listening is half the therapy. Based on my brief experience with him, this known specialist has no idea what beside manners are. One afternoon, I came by appointment to see him. He walked in with a straight face carrying a folder. One would expect an attorney coming into the courtroom wondering how the criminal case is going to turn out. My one-time specialist sat 8 feet away and said in a very impersonal tone, "What are you here for?" You call this "great" bedside manners?" I told him with disgust "I am here f
