Dr. Alexander Pendino, DO

This newly diagnosis for my husband was overwhelming for us . We were referred to him . He spent maybe 10 minutes with us then said he was referring us to a surgeon. He then left the room leaving us with still unanswered questions. Nurse came in and said he will see you back in 6 months ! A horrible and stressful visit. With an incorrect diagnosis.

Dr. Pendino was great, provided excellent and honest care and recommendations.

I was pleasantly surprised by Dr Pendino's calmness and patience! He made my son and I feel that he he had his best interest in mind. My adult son is special needs and the Dr spoke directly to him, acknowledging his presence and made him feel that he had a say in his health!! Simply priceless!

The Doctor. Pendino Alexander was very informative of my condition and related medicals exams and medications.

Dr. Pendino conducted a thorough exam, so no complaints there. However, I had to wait 2 months to see him. After our visit I was informed at check-out that I would have to wait ANOTHER 4 months to see him again to undergo an EMG to confirm what we already know. I made him aware I've had this condition for a year and a half and would like to get this resolved ASAP. But, he failed to communicate during our visit that this was not something he could help me with any time soon. It was a gross waste of my time. With Covid-19 in mind, I know it is likely that there is a backlog of patients with issues resulting in supposed 4-month delays for treatment. But, WHY NOT SAY SO? Ultimately, he will now collect a few hundred dollars from my insurance provider (in addition to my copay) for only having to spend 10/15 minutes with me, with no hope of a timely resolution. Really? That's not right. I won't see him again since I will be looking for another doctor. Sketchy experience at best.
