Finally Sleeping Through the Night
With two sleep disorders finally under control, I became concerned when I was being awakened with the onset of frequent urination. Thanks to Dr. Parker, I now sleep at least six hours without having to get up and use the bathroom. . .and this benefits my overall health!

Urology Clinics of North Texas
Dr. Alex Parker quite literally saved my life! I was brought to the ER at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital with large kidney stones in both kidneys. I was also septic. Dr. Parker acted so quickly to rectify the situation! He has done several follow up procedures and then did some thorough tests to determine what caused the stones to begin with and has recommended a plan of care to prevent them from recurring. He has been great to work with through every step. He is so professional and very nice. He explains everything completely and I have never felt rushed in any appointment with him. He wants to make sure his patients understand. I will never use another urologist. I trust him implicitly.

Impersonal
Just seemed largely impersonal and indifferent for a procedure that was incredibly personal. Didn’t even follow-up with me after the outpatient procedure and sent home without any idea how the procedure went or what they saw. Even the nurses at the outpatient hospital thought it was odd the doctor never spoke to me after the procedure. I had to call the next day and was told “list out questions and they’ll message me back.” Like I said… impersonal and felt like just one of 1000 patients. I thought there was a complete lack of physician bedside manner for this extremely painful procedure.

Excellent appointment experience
This was my third appointment with Dr. Parker. He and his staff were punctual and friendly. Dr. Parker spent a sufficient amount of time with me, answered my questions and offered excellent observations and treatment options regarding my condition.

Happy camper
Dr Parker is an excellent, caring, and compassionate physician. Let’s face it - if you’re in an Urology Clinic, things are not going so good. It’s refreshing to have a slice of comfort while facing our difficulties.

Good Doctor-bad scheduling
I called for an appointment with Dr.Scales. He was booked for 5 weeks. The lady asked if I wanted her to see if another Dr could see me sooner. I said yes, as long as it’s a male and he takes my insurance. She made me an appointment with Dr Parker. Showed my insurance card at the desk and saw the Dr. Got a bill for$335, saying my insurance denied the claim. Turns out that Dr Parker is NOT in my network and was not covered by my insurance. The Dr was great but I feel swindled.
