Best Primary care physician I have had
I originally came in with hypertension and Dr Hoelscher gave me a very thorough exam, got me on the right blood pressure meds, ordered heart scans and I now go to cardiology because it may have been related to heart problems. I cannot thank Dr Hoelscher enough for caring and making my health issues so much better!

Best Doctor in Town!
My time with Dr. Hoelscher has been nothing but the best experience I could ever expect. I am 50 plus year-old male who has struggled with addiction issues my entire adult life & Dr. Hoelscher has taken his time to help me finally move past this. Due to my past, I would say that I am a bit of a challenge, health-wise, and not once have I felt rushed or not attended to. If I could give him 100 stars, I would.

Awful support
Got assigned to this guy when I switched plans from work. Called in and tried to get an appointment. The receptionist was not helpful when I told her about a condition that I had. The earliest she could get me was 7 weeks out and that was for the new patient visit. The whole united Healthcare system is a mess. A patient cannot get into primary care to get a referral but you can’t get the care you need without a referral. Awful health care. Just awful.

Just Awful
I am a low maintenance patient and never ever changed my primary care provider but I had to make the change. Let me just say he has no empathy and doesn't have the sliightest knowledge as a diagnostician. All he does is refer you to specialists. I more than likely a type 2 diabetic as my A1C is high as is my glucose levels. In addition I have all the classic symptoms of a diabetic, Constant thirst, lethargy, Urinating all the time. Yet he stated he wanted to see me in '3 months' and did not prescribe anything for me. Moreover, medications that were given by prior doctors he will not fill and seems reluctant to use his prescription pad. Without revealing too much about my medical history suffice to say my advice is to move on to another pcp.
