Poor Communication Outside of Office
Dr Halkos took weeks to notify me of my my test results and I had to call his office multiple times before anyone would give them to me. I was given about a sentence of information regarding my results then told conflicting information when I called about another result. Another provider who referred me here was concerned about this and called to help me schedule another appointment to discuss if a certain treatment plan would be a good approach for me. Dr. Halkos’ office told us that they offered virtual appointments and they gave me one for today. This appointment has been on the books for a month and I answered the pre appointment questions over the phone yesterday when Emory called. To my surprise, this morning I received a rather rude call and email from his office staff telling me that virtual appointments were not in fact offered and that I would not be seen. I would have understood if they had told me when I tried to book the appointment, but waiting until hours before is rude.

Dr. Halkos has been my husband's cardiologist for over 30 years and we cannot say enough good things about him or his staff.
