I was taken to Southern Hills Hospital on 9/26 for nausea and trouble breathing. I have cardiomyopathy and systolic heart failure. Mr. Daves believed I was having GI issues instead of looking at the real issue at hand: my heart. He ordered an abdominal x-ray, ultrasound, and bloodwork. Long after, he came into my room and said he believed I was having an issue with stomach ulcers. He looked at my bloodwork and it looked “normal” I asked what “normal” was. “Your BNP was in the 2000’s”. That’s good, that’s where my Pro-BNP usually resides. He released me. It wasn’t until today that I went to retrieve my medical records that I noticed my Pro-BNP was 6,405 and my Troponin was 2,176. CRITICALLY high. This idiot was looking at my troponin number mistaking it for my BNP. I should have never been released, and should have been given IV diuretics immediately. I could have had a sudden cardiac arrest. You cannot trust this man with your life.
