Dr. Alex Senchenkov, MD

Dr. Senchenkov was very thorough in explaining every aspect of what I could expect from my thyroidectomy. Even though the surgery is on the neck the scar is nearly invisible. I was very impressed with the results.

First,I feel so lucky to have asked my insurance Humana for a list of surgeons and my husband and I could not be more pleased with his work.After breast cancer another doctor in Tampa Dr Baddoura Left me mutulated after also doing a tummy tuck.I was left disfigured suffered close to 6 months with a stomach opening,huge purple section,lopsided breasts,a belly button 6 inches to low and my female genitalia was down almost between my legs.I was so sadened and sickned by what the other doctor did ,But DR.ALEX SENCHENKOV fixed everything and no discoloration anymore,he filled in breasts with my own tissue to even them out.My genetial area he fixed and I feel like a normal women again as urinating is much easier..The other doctor rushed and mangled me and it took me years to even trust another doctor but honestly Dr.Senchenkov made me feel whole again.His wife works in the office and so kind and sweet just like him.He has a great personality even kinda funny at times and very professional

Wonderful practice!! Dr Senchenkov is an artist in plastic surgery. Takes time to explain everything and does not rush you to a decision. He is always available for questions or concerns. I have recommended his practice to several friends and they thought it was a wonderful experience also. Dr. Senchenkov is very hands-on and knows exactly what’s going on with your care. I would say he is a bit of a perfectionist which is what you want when looking for a plastic surgeon. Can’t say enough good things about the whole experience

You just need to see my face!!! Dr Alex removed a large under the skin growth near my jaw. I had worried that I would be disfigured. He was kind, answered all questions, and was always available throughout the process. AND...I am so very happy with the results.! I have seen some of the reconstructive work he's done for cancer reconstruction....amazing! It's so rare to have a doctor that so obviously puts his patients first....and did I say.... He's an artist.

I was admitted to Manatee Memorial in December 2020 with a cancerous tumor. I was in such bad shape that I received 5 units of blood and multiple antibiotics upon admission. After the physicians did their testing and consulting about my situation, Dr. Senchenkov (apparently) took the lead on my case and performed three surgeries on me over 30 days to save my life. (The first surgery alone was about 10 hours.) He visited me multiple times post-surgeries - not just during morning rounds - and ALWAYS made sure that I was being taken care of. He was always very direct and answered my questions. After I was released, his follow-up care was great.

I anticipated a same day parathryoid surgery, a quick "in an out." Surgery was pushed back to late afternoon at Manatee Memorial. I was getting anxious because I live in Venice. My sister, who was driving me, was concerned because of the distance, the late hour after recovery, and being unfamiliar with the area. Asked Dr. Senchnkov if he would admit me. He admitted us both which was an unexpected blessing . I very much appreciate his generosity and am looking forward to having the bandage removed. Would be very pleased to recommend him for his skill an concern for his patients.

Dr.Senchenkov is great doctor about 2 months ago he did my surgery Everything went great he is such a caring doctor to his patients .He listened and answered all my questions as I was very nervous he explained everything to me I felt confident and had all my trust in him I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends he always answer his phone busy or not he is always there . I broke my pinky finger from a bungee cord that snapped on a Sunday. Dr. Senchenkov performed surgery that evening. He placed 4 pins to hold it in place. It healed straight. He is very attentive and available to his patients and adds a bit of humor to calm the nerves!

I moved from Arkansas to Florida in 2018. I had a revision rhinoplasty in 2014 in Arkansas. The surgeon there had placed a surgical wire in my nose for cartilage stability. When I moved to Florida the wire had shifted and was exposed at the end of my nose. I went to Dr. Senchenkov and he removed the wire with ease. He is very caring and makes you feel relaxed with his humor. I will definitely be seeing him again should I ever need any revisions or any other cosmetic needs.

I saw Dr Senchenkov for just over a yr @ Blake clinic, for my chronic wound from an attempted surgery to fix complications from cancer. Dr S was kind & always there for me, looking out only for my best. We had to try a few things 1st, but, he advanced my healing more in 2mos than anyone had in the 5 yrs b4 I started with him. He was always avail to me& got me in quickly if needed. This Dr cares. He's smart as a whip, too. I was upset when they moved him to LWR. Now 3 wks later& it's 2steps back

Needed all reconstruction of leg w/all tissue,fat,andmuscle loss.Started 3yrs ago.Over yrs&lots surgeries:he immediately answers calls&texts 4 emergencies.He is EXTREMELY thorough,very specific,&VERY caring about patients&quality of care his patients are getting from hospital staff. One surgery he did 15 hr 7am 2 12am doubt he took break or ate&checked on me@6am nxt morning. Pain is very well managed after surgery;complications handled immediately. I fly from TX2FL 2 see him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My experience was horrible after leaving surgery with no antibody I got infection. I had to ultimately go to the wound clinic because my opening wouldn't close up. I also had to end up going to another plastic surgeon. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience
