Not enough space here for why I was not happy
Needed a colonoscopy and referred to Dr. Aslan. During brief interview, he insisted that I also needed an endoscopy down my throat. I asked several questions and received no answers. He just kept insisting that I needed an endoscopy. I asked if I could have the colonoscopy and skip the endoscopy. He said well, if I didn't have it, I would be “required” to sign a waiver. Required?I found him to be a rather unpleasant individual. I felt increasingly less confident in him. For the first time in my life, I looked at online reviews and discovered that on every site, a third of the reviews gave him the highest rating, but two thirds gave him the lowest possible.I looked at his notes on my online chart. He mentioned things like my breathing pattern and my skin was “warm and dry.” He was never closer than 4 feet and it seemed like he was trying to inflate for insurance.I canceled and had a routine colonoscopy elsewhere. No mention of an endoscopy and I wonder about Aslan's motives.

Billed after 9 months.
I had an endoscopy and was tild insurance would cover it but I eneded up paying probably about 2k out of pocket. I just got another $500 bill more than 9 months later. I was called in to the office to discuss the findings and had a 5-10 minute appointment that I waited over an hour for so that I could be told that they didn't find anything. Really? You couldn't have saved me $200 in lost wages, copay, and gas and just told me that over the phone? Worst decision I have made in the past few years was to go get checked out.

Don’t waste your time one of the quickest and unhelpful doctors visits I’ve ever had . Spent 5 minutes if that with me , checked absolutely nothing. Told me the obvious I’m over weight , no kidding Einstein . I’m working on a better diet and exercise because I know that’s an issue. I didn’t need a medical degree to come up with that . What a person goes to a doctor for is to get answers , be tested , discuss the symptoms and hear what can possibly be root cause but also let science work and maybe use a imaging machine , blood test I don’t know maybe I’m completely off base. Instead of being shood away like a burden . Maybe this doctor forgot the purpose of his profession.

Let me share more information than my last review, please. When I first saw Dr. Alex Aslan at the follow up appointment after my first colonoscopy/endoscopy, he told me I had the worse case of Ulcerative colitis he had seen in many years and that I was not going to make it past 30 years old. I am over 30 now and my health is just fine.

Very frustrating visit. I waited for an hour and 15 minutes to see him. When I finally saw him, he was annoyed because he had to do the typing on my chart. He just sat behind his desk and asked what’s wrong and then within 5 minutes was done.! Then he put false information in his report as well as stated he spent over an hour with me which in reality was five minutes. It is frightening that a doctor could embellish his report without the patient knowing. Moral of the story, I do not trust this man and will not be seeing him again!

Great doctor! has an awesome bedside manner. My husband does NOT do well with any of these and had no issues at all. In fact he said this is his go to doctor going forward for Gi things. I have used him for the last several years and cannot say enough good things about Dr. Aslan

This office called 3 times about my upcoming appointment. Each time my husband took the calls because I am deaf, and he told them I was deaf. Arrived to find this doctor was refusing to see me because he refuses to type info on a computer screen,,,,have managed my whole life reading lips! Waste of time, and I am not surprised about his other reviews about rudeness, etc.

Very impersonal, doesn’t give you time to ask questions. Unprofessional and does not explain medical issues well. First consult less than 15 minutes of his time. Rude and uncaring!
