Dr Pugach is an old fashioned, caring, experienced and knowledgeable physician who saved my life. He took time to get to know me, did routine blood work as part of a thorough physical, found I was anemic and sent me for an immediate scope. Turned out I had cancer with internal bleeding. Had treatments and did very well. If Dr. Pugach had not been my Doctor, I would very likely have died needlessly, the condition not being detected until it was terminal. Recommend Dr. Pugach with the highest endorsement.

Dr. Pugach is my Mom's primary care doc and she could not have a better one. He is a brilliant diagnostician, and takes the time to get to know his patients. He can come off as arrogant because he does not suffer fools gladly, and in his efficiency (and with his Russian accent) can sometimes leave you hanging. He also demands close contact with specialists, and will not accept inferior care on the part of anyone else treating "his" patients. All that adds up to: Never met a more caring doctor.
