Great doctor!!!!!!!!
On time, he seem to value my time as well as his. Listens to what I have to say and thinks about it before he makes a diagnoses.

Horribly uncomfortable experience with Dr Lanis
I would not recommend seeing Dr Lanis after my experience with him. I was seeing Dr Lanis for 3 years and during this time, I lost my fiancé and was grieving my loss. I was doing the best I could to help myself and he prescribed me an antidepressant. I also was seeing a psychologist. After 8 months of losing my fiancé, Dr Lanis tried to put me on a bipolar/schizophrenia medication and told me he thinks I should get another “man friend” in my life. I was so disturbed and upset about this and called the office right after to file a complaint- no one ever called me back. I am 31 years old and I do not suffer from depression or bipolar/schizophrenia, I am simply grieving. Dr Lanis tried to highly medicate me for something I did not or ever have. To me, this says he doesn’t get to know or understand his patients but instead he puts you on medicine that Is not right for you.

My daughter visited Dr Lanis for the first time after her recent stroke/hospitalization and he was awesome. He ran a little late but after all the time he took with her I could understand why. He was very thorough, took lots of time with her/us, going over her medications, recent hospitalization. I can't say enough good things about him. Thank you

Worst experience with a new provider. Working in the medical field makes me ashamed to have this guy working for Mercy. I would not recommend him to any of my friends or family.

He takes time with me and makes sure he has all information needed about what I’m there for. I feel like he cares about my health and I hadn’t seen that level of dedication in such a long time. A very good doctor in my opinion.

I took my 85 year old mother to Dr Lanis ffor the first time. He spent over an hour thoroughly evaluating her health problems and concerns. I was so impressed with his compassion and knowledge. In fact I too will now use him as my internist. I would highly recommend Dr Lanis

Dr. Lanis is exactly how you want your physician to be. He is kind, thorough, detailed and intelligent. He spends time listening to any issues I may be having and remembers my medical situation from one appointment to the next. He is responsive and willing and able to communicate with me through email on Mercy.net. I am so happy he replaced my prior physician of 24 years. I thought I would never find a physician as good as Dr. Fischer. I recommend him to friends and family all of the time.
