Refuses to help
Today, Dr. Klemptner refused to help me. He’s refused to help me in the past (seeking a CT scan or MRI) saying my (well managed) type one diabetes would be a “risk factor.” He was wrong. After addressing my kidney function with my endocrinologist, we determined nothing SHOULD stop me from seeking a diagnosis for the chronic pain I have associated with scoliosis and degenerative bone disease, etc. I have a statement from her, saying so.Turns out, Dr. Klemptner is just here to collect a paycheck, and not help patients. He said there was nothing he could do for me.I went to his office seeking a different (but relevant) referral today, and he flat out refused. I’ve never been treated so horribly by a doctor. I begged him to help. He encouraged me to find another PCP, which I spent HOURS doing. Why, because he didn’t want to refer me to a specialist. He treated me like I was seeking drugs the whole time. (I’m not). Thanks for literally nothing. It was really fun finding a new PCP.

Does not provide care for his patients unless it benefits him or a close colleague. Multiple family members have not gotten the care they needed from him. Disrespectful and very bad customer service from him and his billing department as well.
