Confused and disappointed
I came in to resume allergy shots after my previous allergist left the area. I was in the office for close to two hours, during which time the doctor suggested I had a genetic disorder and ordered several tests. After getting them, there was never follow up — and I also was not able to resume shots after waiting for two months. Why doesn’t an allergist have appropriate treatment for a life-threatening allergy? It’s not the supply chain: I switched allergists and resumed shots with the first appointment.

Couldn’t ask for a better doctor or human being than Dr Hirdt. My family has been through some challenging issues not the least of which has been environmental exposure and mast cell disease. DOZENS of doctors. No one comes close to Dr Hirdt. He truly knows his medicine, has seemingly seen it all and as a result isn’t dismissive of complex and chronic cases like my family endures. He is so thorough, respectful, CARING, patient and super responsive and in the heart of the science and medicine of his field. He has offered some excellent assistance and suggestions along the way when traditional therapies didn’t work or were simply overwhelming to sensitive and highly reactive immune systems. He is THE doctor who we actually have found results with, and who truly cares about his patients and wants them to be well. Even his caring and genuine smile is like soothing balm. He is exceptional and truly a master of his field…. and I recommend him completely without hesitation.

I loved this dr. He spent over an hr talking to me, asking questions and taking my medical history. Which unfortunately is unheard of now a days. I would 100% recommend him. He was kind and knowledgeable and took the time to Listen to everything i had to say. Came up with a plan of action the very same day as my first appointment. Could not ask for a better doctor.

I have struggled to find an allergist/immunologist who is knowledgeable about mast cell disorders. Introducing... Dr. Hirdt! He displayed a very impressive in-depth knowledge of mast cells and is clearly up to date on current research. He was thorough and patient and never interrupted me or made me feel rushed. As someone with multiple chronic illnesses, I have gotten very good at spotting both terrible and excellent doctors. Dr. Hirdt is a keeper!

Dr. Hirdt treated me, on an urgent basis, for an eye allergy on August 17, 2016. The prescription he gave me worked amazingly quickly. I am very satisfied with his treatment and highly recommend him. Because I live so far away from the office, my arrival time was earlier than scheduled. He took me as scheduled.
