Not what I was looking for
I went in for hyperparathyroidism and growth hormone deficiency so, why would he need a breast exam? I told him I had been in the day before to see my OB GYN and he still insisted he give me a breast exam. When I asked why he insisted on doing a breast examination, he said 'because I can' and had an irritation to his voice like, no one questions my authority. I however did and left. I did file a report for inappropriate behavior by a doctor. Hope others don't encounter what I went through.

Staff need to be more compassionate and helpful
Dr Hawkins's receptionist, Mryna, is the rudest person I ever met working in the medical profession. I needed her to send my mom's lab order over, and she scolded me and told me my mom should have taken the lab order paperwork with her. I told her she was never given an order and was told after leaving the office that she needed to do labs. She then told me she had already faxed it to the lab twice and didn't know what else to do. I told her she was using an insulting tone of voice with me, which wasn't helpful. She clearly needs to be more compassionate and helpful if she continues to work in the medical profession. Even if we are poor, we should still receive quality care.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hawkins today. I am new to the area and found him to be very patient and thorough. He listened to my concerns, conducted a thorough exam, refilled my prescriptions and referred me to 3 specialists based on his findings.

Called to schedule an appointment as a new patient in the beginning of January 2021, had the appointment set up for middle of February. Was called by the front office and told my appointment was bumped and the doctor wouldn't be able to see me until April. The fact that it takes 4 months to get in to see a physician is ridiculous. Never got to meet Dr. Hawkins, but would not recommend based on the fact it takes 4 months to even get in to see him. At that point just tell me you're not taking new patients, rather than have me fill out all the paperwork, wait a month and a half, and then tell me a couple days before my actual appointment.

Dr. Hawkins is a caring physician. He listens and follows up with my test results. I had no problem getting an appointment and was seen within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable regarding my insurance coverage. They went out of their way to help me with my prior authorization for my medication.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hawkins and he spent time with me, listening and helping me to get control of my diabetes. He also referred me out to the endocrinologist and cardiologist. The staff had my records and information faxed over to the physicians that same day and I was able to make my appointments. They are very cordial and prompt! I was very happy with this office.

Whos giving theses reviews? The Dr is wonderful but the front office need jobs in a non customer service industry. They have not helped my husband once to get to his referrals! He has called the rederrals with due diligence and not one has called back so we call Dr Hawkins office and they are so rude and unconcerned and offer no help. My husband has some issues that can become serious enough to debilitated him and some that can cost him his life! So sad and utterly disgusting to see!!!!

The staff is so friendly and always goes the extra mile. My name is John Rotta I suffer from PTSD and DR. Hawkins is really so understanding and always is helping me more and more every time I see him. Since the two years I've seen him I've never felt better. Also I just had a baby so there's no words that describe how compassionate this DR. is. I can say my family love's him and I love this man. Thank you for being the best.??

Excellent physician and staff. Dr. Hawkins was kind and helped me understand why I was feeling sick. He ran the appropriate tests and explained the results thoroughly. His staff was courteous and kind, They had the office decorated for a birthday celebration which was fun.
