Simply outstanding Surgeon
He is by far the BEST Foot & Ankle Surgeon! It was unbelievable that I had no pain after major operation that he performed only minor aching for a day or two. He is a magician! His personality, bed side manner and skills are impeccable.

AVOID PENN PODIATRY at Perelman.
This provider was in the room less than 5 minutes, had not seen my x-rays prior and he wanted to have me get total reconstruction of both feet keeping me on a knee roller walker for three years. I saw a highly educated podiatric surgeon outside of Penn who suggested minor tendon releases in the office on 6 toes. I have had them done and no longer have issues. The practice is inside the Plastic Surgery area, the facility does not even invest in podiatry, which makes it clear they don't believe in the department either. I walk 5 miles a day now and run 3 miles three times a week. I have no wounds or injuries now.

I saw D'Angelantonio for foot pain concerns. He recommended surgery right away, which seemed odd. I moved forward with getting orthotics as surgery/recovery is not practical for my life currently. Somehow a scooter showed up to my house (which I would need if I got surgery). It has been a nightmare returning this scooter. His office approved the scooter, even though I told him no surgery during my visit. I would never go back to him.

Absolutely the best! I just had bunion surgery on my right foot and I was terrified for my post surgery recouping. Surgery went so well, did not have to break any bones, Doctor D was amazing to deal with, his staff is superior. The surgical center was top notch. I can’t wait to get left foot done eventually!!!

for a mild bunion, I was prescribed 4 medications and received a ridiculous amounts of each them. It seems excessive and not necessary to me, especially since I mentioned I wasn't in any pain or discomfort at the time of my visit. It also felt like the medications were prescribed in haste and without great explanation as to their importance and impact on the bunion itself.

I recently had a big toe fusion performed by Dr. D’Angelantonio. He was fabulous. Everything about the procedure was fully explained to me and the staff at Penn were wonderful. Dr. D’Angelantonio followed up after my surgery with a phone call and checked on the progress. I’d highly recommend him and his staff.

I brought my grandfather to Dr. D'Angelantonio after about six visits with another practice for excruciating heal pain that left him unable to walk any longer than five minutes. Within 30 seconds of Dr. D walking into the room, we both felt completely confident that this issue was going to be resolved. He spent so much time to fully explain the diagnosis, treatment plan and next steps. There aren't enough positive words to explain our experience today. Would recommend to anyone!

He canceled two apps bf., I even had an initial consultation. I should have stopped then but, I finally did see him everything was scheduled December, 2017 and three days before my appointment D'Angeloantonio called me at home abt 6 pm three days bf my surgery saying, he is giving me a heads up that he had a family emergency and was going out of town he couldn't perform the surgery. His assistant had no idea what happened the next day. I had everything set up with work. Totally unproffesional

I would not recommend Dr. D'Angelantonio for any podiatry needs. He refused to cut a Neuroma out of my foot stating I would need a series of 3 ultra sound guided injections ($6,000 each) and a insert for my shoe to see how it reacts, I did comply. After relief for only 6 weeks, he said he still will not operate, that I would need 8-12 more injections. Needless to say, I left and went to Cooper. They are removing the Neuroma. I am very disappointed in Penn Health and the waste of time and money.

Dr. D'Angelantonio literally reconstructed my foot and ankle problems so well that I can finally walk without pain. I was suffering in pain for years and have been to so many different doctors. He was the only one that was able to help me. I recommend him to everyone and anyone he is outstanding.
