Dr. Chan was extremely rude and condescending when I was referred to him from another provider. He didn’t introduce himself and immediately said “I don’t understand why you’re here” in a very hostile manner. Within the first 3 minutes, I was in tears and offered to leave as he made it seem like I was a major inconvenience by being there. He made me feel so belittled and that my health condition is irrelevant although I have been out of work for 6+ months with multiple hospitalizations. He said I’m too young for heart issues (26) although I have had two heart procedures in the past and a current diagnosed heart condition. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I wanted to get this out there in hopes no one else has to go through the same situation I did. I have been through many specialists and doctors, and this one was by far the worst. Unless you have a point and shoot illness, he is far too egotistical and ignorant to try to help.

Horrible!! He asked me what were my symptoms were and when I told him, he immediately said he is probably not the doctor I needed to see? (After 2 answers) When I continued, he argued round and round about my symptoms and what would cause it, etc - when it is something I have been dealing with for 3 years? I Do know my body and what it is doing as opposed to someone who met me for 5 minutes? Then he was extremely rude and nasty when he 'barked' at me to tell me to put my mask back on when I took a drink because after talking my mouth was dry - I had my mask on the entire time except to drink!? I was appalled and just left at that point.....How sad and disappointing when you wait for an appt for 4 months and need the help and to be treated in such a way? Just shocking to say the least!? I would say if you need a cardiologist - keep looking because this one is just hateful!
