Egotistical.
I was a patient of Dr. Martinez from week 5 of pregnancy. I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis very early and was subsequently put on a Zofran pump to control the vomiting. Initially, she was accommodating. However, after my Hyperemesis did not meet her perceived timeline of being gone after my first trimester, she was no longer helpful since her need to be right supersedes her ability to care for patients. She refused to help me in obtaining forms to help protect my job from absences due to hospitalizations, as she felt I will not be on the pump much longer. Every woman's experience with hyperemesis is different; her perceived timeline of what I would look like was wrong and unprofessional. Her ego gets in the way of caring for patients as she needs to be right, I picked up my records and will be looking for someone who actually cares.

I regret returning to this Dr for this pregnancy. It has been a bad experience and even until 40 weeks she didn't act like she cared much about me as a patient. The bad reviews are accurate. I wish I saw them earlier.
