dr. mitchell is the most inconsiderate physician i have ever encountered. i needed a cataract operation and when i was on the table he substituted some other doctor in his place. he longer does operations. might as well have gone to wallmart for an eye exam. in another incidence, i had an appointment with him and was told that the doctor did not see patients on fridays. i showed the receptionist the appt card that they filled out that explicitly said friday. the doctor stood behind a pole and did not come out to find out what the problem was or to apologize for the misunderstanding. the most disgusting behavior ever.

Error after error, made by Dr. Mitchell, and His Staff is without a doubt the most UNFRIENDLY AND LEAST RESPONSIVE IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN A DR. OFFICE... IVE GOTTEN BETTER SERVICE IN WALMARTS !!, BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OR LATER THIS IS HOW YOU WILL FEEL ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Dr Mitchell is knowledgeable and trustworthy . Wife and I have been using him over 5 years. Staff courteous also.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Dr. Alan Mitchell prescribed for me an incorrect prescription (1.50 higher than it should be) for both my eye glasses and contact lenses. Based on the prescription given, I bought glasses from The Optique, (the store located at his office) which I can’t use because I can’t see through. I went for a second opinion and got everything straightened out. I requested a refund and my money back for both the exam and the eyeglasses. However, not only they refused to give me my money back, but they wanted the glasses back. The icing on the cake is that, I’m being blamed for giving the doctor incorrect answers while he was checking my vision. Dr. Mitchell refuses to take any responsibility whatsoever for his mistake. This is preposterous! Unprofessional to say the least. Stay away! I cannot recommend neither Dr. Mitchell nor The Optique store at all! I had bad experience from start to finish. I just moved to Florida from NY and needed an Ophthalmologist. I had my first appointment with Dr Mitchell today. His staff is great and Dr Mitchell is thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Mitchell and coming from the medical field he gets 5 Stars ??

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The office is immaculate and Dr. Mitchell is extremely thorough and takes time to explain all procedures. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Mitchell to all future patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alan Mitchell's for the past 19 years. The office is beautiful, and Dr. Mitchell and staff are courteous and friendly. Although it is a busy office, I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment. Most importantly, I know that I am receiving excellent, comprehensive health care for my eyes. Dr. Mitchell has always gone above and beyond to ensure that I retain maximum vision, eye comfort and eye health. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Mitchell and his incredible office staff rate at the top. I have had only positive experiences. It is obvious by the way he interacts with patients that not only is he super competent as an ophthalmologist, but kind and caring to the upmost degree. He is generous with his time and his deep concern for his patients' well being is apparent. Dr. Mitchell is an inspiring example of what we all look for in a doctor.

Rude. Would not answer my questions. Rushed me out.

Do not go to Dr. Mitchell. Does not give you quality time. In a big rush. Failed to give me my driving glass prescription than tried to charge me an additional fee, but after a long battle and scene in office -did not charge me. I will go to another doctor because I do not feel the eye exam and prescription given is accurate. Spent maybe 8 minutes with me and that is an exaggeration!!! Beware---go to someone else. Office manager very rude--unpleasant experience
