This doctor destroyed my life. He has the ability to help me right now but the amount of pain I’m having between the surgery and my c5 from a helicopter accident after the epidemic happened for some reason he feels I should have had more then enough relief with 45mg of oxycodone. I used to take 220mg daily. I had to learn the hard way that u cannot depend on doctors. U may have a medication that u need that works for you but after the epidemic started overnight they decide we’ll maybe this medication does not work for you. We’re getting a lot of scrutiny and really have to switch everyone except cancer patients off opioids. It’s not fair just because u don’t have cancer does not mean you don’t have serious pain. It’s not fair

Dr Cota and his nurse, Omar, are an incredible team of caregivers. Dr Cota is a friendly, compassionate, consummate professional. He listens and is extremely knowledgeable in modern pain relieving procedures. I have various metal parts in my body, have suffered for decades, and in the past 2 yrs I’ve seen Dr Cota, I now have hope! I had a nerve blocking procedure that produced excellent results. Dr Cota has qualities we look for in doctors—compassion, empathy, friendliness, highly intelligent, a good listener and best of all, Dr Cota gives me hope for a better future.

Before coming in I felt warm, welcomed and cared about. I have never had a warmer interaction with anyone like I did with Carli. I was looking forward to my appointment at the office because of how she made me feel over the phone. Once in the office she was exactly the same. Gis

Dr. Cota's office staff is always courteous and helpful. The wait time is minimal. Dr. Cota's credentials, academic research, and knowledge are stellar. He is a very sensitive and caring doctor (I've worked with hundreds of docs [research], and Dr. Cota rates very highly among those I have had the privilege of knowing and/or working with). Dr. Cota responds to questions and concerns (no matter how inane). I would refer any of my family members to him, if excellent pain-management treatment was

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of time Dr. Cota spent discussing the issues with my spine AND my overall health! He really does consider the the entire body! Dr. Cota is one of a small number of doctors who understand professional and sincere bedside manner. He carefully explained the issues I have; explained best and worst case scenarios and various treatment options available for me. He really took his time with me and he provided me with a thorough an comprehensive visit!

Best referral ever from my PCP, Dr. AJ Johnson! Dr. Cota is a consonant advocate & has given me the best options for my pain relief and care. Dr. Cota is the ultimate professional & delivers care in a fact based, deliberate & compassionate manner. I know I have to be my own best advocate & he always provides me guidance & the assurance I need to do so; however, he believes the client gets the best care when one invests, commit & acts on their care. I cannot praise Dr. Cota and the pain clinic enough. He gave me hope when I was hopeless, when I felt no one was listening to me in regard to the pain level I felt after a surgery. He is a kind, compassionate man with a wealth of professional knowledge; recognizing problems from descriptions I gave. I would recommend him and his clinic to anyone; excellent bed side manner. Plan he prescribed has worked great!

Dr. Gonzalez-Cota is kind and smart and everything you'd want in a doctor. He spent a lot of time with me, listening and explaining and offering various options for treatment. I saw several doctors before him and want to save everyone the trouble of consulting with someone who doesn't have the expertise and caring of Dr. Gonzalez-Cota.
