Dr. Galbut is terrific. He knows how to get to the root of the problem with incredibly good instincts. His staff is also fabulous. He has been my internist for close to 15 years. I hate to think of the day if and when he ever retires. Almost impossible today to find someone like him with his devotion to his patients.

all the paperwork I filled out in order to get an appt. was missing, the records they DID have were incorrect (DK whose they were looking at, but not mine), I waited 40 minutes past my appt time then was told I'd need to wait another 30-40 minutes b/c some prior patients had been late for theirs!! I had to leave, asked them verbally & in writing, to delete my medical records as I wouldn't be a patient...this was several weeks ago & they still haven't deleted my records....is that legal?

Very skilled and able diagnostician. Extremely brusque, quick and not given to any form of pleasantries. Oftentimes he appears rushed and extremely short on patience as well as arrogant. For those patients seeking an interactional physician relationship, best to look elsewhere.

Dr. Galbut was able to see me upon short notice when I was feeling ill. His staff was very pleasant and he was incredibly thorough in his examination and testing. He correctly diagnosed the issue and prescribed medication that helped tremendously. Thank you Dr. Galbut for getting me back in tip top shape!

Dr. Galbut did a poor job diagnosing my illness, especially it's urgency. Terribly ill with trouble standing and breathing. After many tests he gave me a package of Nexium and wrote on it "1 DAILY". The next morning I went to a pulmonary diagnostician who immediately hospitalized me with acute on-chronic pericardal and pleural effusion, I was operated on the next morning to drain & sew up the lung and heart sacs. Hospitalized for 6 days, he nearly caused my death and in my opinion was a bully

One of the most arrogant, condescending doctors I've ever met. I'm probably younger than 95% of his patients, so maybe he doesn't know how to deal with younger patients. I went in with a list of symptoms, he asked me a few questions, and did rudimentary tests. I had problems with feeling faint, fatigued, and nauseous. He remarked about how good my physical condition and build were and unbelievably asked if I had ever done steroids. He was incredulous about my symptoms. Just awful.

Living up north for half the year and Naples for the other half can make coordinating healthcare as I age a challenge. Luckily I found Dr. Galbut who is a terrific primary care physician and coordinates with all my doctors up in Ohio. He's very personable and has made many suggestions that have improved my health significantly.

I have personally known Dr. Alan Galbut 38 years. He has been our family & friend's physician for years. He is a kind & compassionate doctor who cared for his own mother the last 5 years of her life until age 90 here in Naples managing a complicated medical history including diabetes & severe heart disease with pacemaker. He is quite intelligent as a Sherlock Holmes who researches to find answers & solutions to complex problems. His dedication has been a Godsend to the thousands of his patients!
