Poorly run office staff.
I had missed my last appointment due to unforeseen issues and rescheduled it. It was 4 months I had to wait for the next appointment. I was told 12 PM on 19 December. I even asked if they had a cancellation list and the woman told me she’ll put me on the list. I gave her my phone number and hung up. Never heard another thing from them until my appointment today. I show up and they tell me it was a 11am appt. not a 12pm and that they do not have a cancellation list so I don’t know who I spoke to, but their office staff runs very poorly. I’m having issues that need to be taken care of so I have to wait another month and a half until I can see him. I put the information in my phone right in front of her so there should be no issues next time. They also had the wrong phone number for me.. If I did not like Dr Deutsch I would find another neurologist, but he is an excellent doctor. He needs to ship his staff into shape though because they are incompetent.

I called the office to see if Dr Deutsch was taking on new patients. The receptiionist said yes and scheduled me for an appt 3 weeks away. I came in and waited over an hour before I was lead to the exam room, and then was told Dr Barcas will be with me shortly. I told the woman that my appt was with Dr Deutsch. She said he's not here today! so I had my exam with the other Dr and when checking out told the receptionist what just happened. She said I guess well we got you in sooner with Dr Barcus. so I left then called the office manager to tell her what just happened. I wanted to know why they changed my Dr, without telling me and I wanted to know if this is the way she runs her office. The manager stated that she could tell from who took the appt which receptionist it was and tell me what happened. she never called me back.

Dr. Deutsch was very attentive and listened to everything to help us get healthy again. He is very professional and makes sure everything is covered and understood. Dr. Deutsch makes you feel comfortable and takes time with you and your family.

Dr. Deutsch has been my neurologist for about nine years. I have MS and he has always helped me and guided me in the right direction. He is caring and I trust his opinion.
