Dr. Al Deeb, MD

Dr. Deeb is a very good surgeon and I appreciated him explaining the surgery and what to expect and the follow up after surgery with explaining the surgery with my wife after he was done. I would recommend Dr Al Deeb to everyone. Thank you Dr. Deeb for handling my case.

My husband had a surgical site infection (SSI) after Deeb removed his appendix. He was discharged from the hospital after his surgery with deeb but still had severe pain in his abdomen that deeb said was normal. My husband couldnt eat and lost 15 pounds within a week and requested an appointment with deeb because of these issues. Deeb said he 'could stand to miss a few meals' and that 'he was fine'. My husband went to his primary care doctor after this appointment with Deeb and she sent him straight to the hospital. Turns out he was septic and the surgery site was infected and tested positive for E COLI. He ended up spending another 2 weeks in the hospital on IV antibiotics.

Told me I don't have a hernia didn't let me speak I was told because of my size it is impossible for a hernia even though the hospital I was at shows I have 2 that my lower intestines were filling in

Dr. Deeb is the one I asked for by name. He came highly recommended by my best friend. I had to have a hernia surgery and he did an amazing job. I have had minimal pain from my surgery other than what is normal for abdominal type surgery. He also did a laparoscopic exploratory surgery in the abdomen to make sure he wasn't missing anything else that could be contributing to my pain. He explains everything so you can understand it. He is always nice. Always has a smile. He does not sugar coat anything. I would have surgery by Dr. Deeb again any day!

I had my gallbladder surgery done by Dr Deeb and healed up quickly! He was very informative and kind ! I went back for a follow up and had no wait time and his staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcomed !

I had gallbladder surgery, and two lipomas removed by Dr. Deeb. I highly recommend him for general surgery. If I need any general surgery in the future, , Dr. Deeb is who I would call.

I was recently discharged and 8 days post op from having bariatric surgery. I live 3 hours away from CRMC and had my surgery there because of my insurance. My surgeon was aware of this. I ended up in the ER, in my local city because I was severely dehydrated and had abdominal pain. My treating physician here in the ER wanted to loop in my surgeon and make them aware of what was happening with me and also ask if SHE should order a CT to check for any problems. The on call doctor was Dr Deeb and he abruptly told her that he “doesn’t do sacred heart” which is the health care system closest to me. I don’t know what that even means and even my treating physician was baffled by the response. Shouldn’t a doctor care about what is happening to a patient from there practice? No one is asking him to order labs, or do anything other than to be involved because you are THE ON CALL DOCTOR. I’m thankful that my surgeon isn’t like this. Because this sort of behavior and response is awful.

I highly recommend Dr. Al Deeb! Diverticulitis meant trouble for my colon - it was punctured! The pain was incredible; but Dr. Deeb surgically mended me and today I am experiencing excellent health. You could say that Dr. Deeb saved my life. He is patient and precise in everything he does ASK for him at one of Tallahassee's hospitals. You won't be sorry.

Dr. Deeb by far is the most compassionate and most professional doctor! got my gall bladder removed and my experience with appts and surgery were all great!! Dr. Deeb’s staff and nurses are all amazing and helpful as well!! :)

Hello.. I just wanted to advise anyone reading this review that Dr. Deeb is one of the most caring, compassionate, amazing and understanding doctor and person that I have had the pleasure to meet. He had preformed three different surgeries on my husband two of them were major surgeries and one was a minor surgery. He explained everything that was need to know about what he was going to do. He made sure that we understood what was going to happen during the surgeries and what was need to be done before all the surgeries. He was there every day to check on my husband and give me an update on how his recovery was processing and what to expect next. We love him. You also can't forget his office staff that made you feel like family. They were there to answer any question that they could and if not found the answer for you. We love Dr. Deeb and his office staff. If for any reason I would need a surgeon again I would not hesitate to call him again…. We highly recommend Dr Deeb.

Needs to retire

I love dr. Deeb! He has made such a big change in my life, great doctor and personable bedside manner. I fear doctor visits but today i knew i was in good hands. Removed 2 huge cysts off scalp within 10 minutes, one that had been there for 13 years. I have no health insurance and had been referred by my mom and aunt. He worked with me and the only thing i regret is not seeing him sooner.

Dr. Al Deeb came into my wife and my life Sept 2016, He was very informative and caring, He saved my wife's life, I will be forever indebted to him.

Misdiagnosis and terrible bedside manner...never will let that man touch me
