Dr. Akiko Suzuki, MD

I have been a patient for many years. The clinic now has a new receptionist who is friendly and courteous. I had no issues making a same-day appointment and even received an email confirmation immediately after my call.

Dr. Suzuki has been my primary care physician over the past 5 yeas, and I will say she is a good doctor. However, receptionist lady is so rude, unprofessional, and does not care patients. So, I switched to another doctor. This is also apply to my several friends, and all of them switched to another doctor. I do not recommend to go there.

The comments in this reviews about the receptionist are correct. She is very rude and unprofessional. Dr. Suzuki should take some corrective actions against her. I believe many patients are not happy and frustrated but we don't have many options. Please don't take advantage in the situation.

Receptionist is terribly rude

I Don’t know if Doctor Suzuki ever check this report, I personally think she should. She is my primary Doctor and I am traveling out side of country and need medicine refills. Her Receptionist not only hang up the phone 3 times after I request her to make me an appointment with my doctor, she said she won’t because she doesn’t like me. I don’t know how can a receptionist make important decisions like that over a Doctor and not only that, she said if I keep calling her she will terminated me from that clinic. I don’t have enough time, I am flying day after tomorrow. So I beg her to give me an appointment so I can solve my problem and she say she have nothing for me, if she do that will be the day I will be flying. Doctor Suzuki, you are important to us and you are our Doctor. What part of that you don’t understand????

I would not recommend This Clinic. The receptionist does not speak english well-Japanese. My insurance has this doctor as my primary care physician( it is printed on the card ) the receptionist said I was not, they were not accepting new patients, and I should call back in Sept - 3 months away. I told her about my insurance, the card had this doctor,... she said they do not accept my insurance.

I would not recommend this clinic. The receptionist is the most rude person. The feeling I got was if you didn't speak Japanese, you wouldn't be given the best service. I never saw the doctor, so I can not say how good or bad she is as a doctor. I had such a bad experience from the receptionist , I decided to cancel my appointment and walked out. Patients beware!!!
