Dr. Ajai Chari, MD

My oncologist felt I needed a treatment he could not provide. an appointment was arranged within 2 days and all of my records were sent to him. His fellow called me the morning of the appointment to get a better picture of my health situation so they would be more prepared when I came in. My appointment was at 1 pm and after taking many blood samples for further testing, Dr.. Chari must have spent close to two hours explaining why a different drug would help my myeloma and how we would transition to my new therapy. This doctor changed my outlook concerning my future. It is rare that one gets to be treated by a doctor who is both brilliant and kind. I would also add that everyone on his staff is helpful, kind, and most professional.

My mother came to Dr. Chari to be treated for multiple myeloma. You can tell that Dr. Chari genuinely cares about his patient and receives great joy in seeing his patients improve. Dr. Chari is not only very attentive, but also very easy to talk to. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to be treated for multiple myeloma.

Love love dr Chari! He is my oncologist since Dec 2017 wouldn’t change him for nothing. I don’t feel like a patient he knows me by my first name and that’s definitely a good sign between a patient and their doc..what I like most about Dr Chari he take times to listen to you and not rushing you are try to avoid your questions or concerns. He is an excellent doctor who was available any time night or day to answer questions or concerns. I was scared and in a daze when I walked into his office 10 years ago but his confidence, competency and compassion gave me the self assurance that I was in good hands. I'm a survivor today because of his care; I am forever grateful that I survived and was given the time to fulfill some of my dreams. Thank you.

My Dad was under the care of Dr. Chari for the last 9 years. Dr. Chari's a wonderful man who brought much needed clarity & stability into our lives when we needed it most. He explored every possible treatment option! Truly a lifesaver. When my father passed last Nov. at the age of 80, Dr. Chari traveled to Brooklyn in the cold to a small intimate memorial in the middle of rush hour. This might sound trivial, but it was a sincere, beautiful gesture from a great doctor. Highly recommended.
