Misdiagnosis
Couldn’t figure out a simple bacterial infection. She wanted to put me on steroids for over a month when my eye wasn’t healing at all from an infection. She could have easily prescribed me a dose of antibiotics. I visited her over 10x and she was of no use. Obviously as a dr if one treatment plan isn’t helping, you go on to the next. Finally, my PCP prescribed me a dose of antibiotics and I healed. She then tried to tell me it wasn’t the antibiotics that helped.

I had a very uncommon type of amoeba eye infection, and Dr. Edell's timely diagnosis is the only reason I made a 100% recovery and am able to see out of my left eye today. She is extremely kind and committed to giving her patients the best possible care.

Dr. Edell is what I wish all doctors could be. Two other doctors couldn't diagnose me and she figured out my problem in 5 minutes. She was so patient and took so much time to explain and answer all my questions. I was going blind and in a panic and it turns out what I had can be cured. How often do you find doctors who are smart and also really gentle and honest.
