Dr. Ahmed Embabi, MD

I recently had outpatient injections in my lower back. My cost was $500. Dr Embabi and I must not have communicated very well. He injected a numbing agent , but it did nothing for my pain. I thought I would be receiving steroid injections. So, within 3 hours I was back home and in terrible pain. I called his office several times but was either ignored or denied anything for pain. There was zero customer service. I wasted $500. I will not recommend him to my friends. I’m sure my insurance company paid him plenty. It was good for him, but not for me.

Dr. Embabi has such a positive energy about him. He makes it easy for you to discuss your issues and concerns. He doesn't try to 'sell' surgery. I truly feel he cares for his patients and wants the best for each one, but also doesn't want to give false promises. I have also learned not to be discouraged if appointments feel a little rushed...he is so full of energy that I don't think he knows how to sit still long. Lol!Plus, he does have a lot of patients. I think everyone agrees with me that we all need a little of his energy! Thank you, Dr. Embabi, for being you.

Dr Embabi was very friendly and kind. However, most importantly, he proved to be highly competent. His direction on my treatment to resolve my pain proved to be correct. The staff was also friendly and compassionate. After the procedure I was very weak and they hurried to get me some juice later they pulled on my socks and shoes as I was struggling a bit.

The doctor was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and displayed genuine care for his patients. I'm relieved to have finally found a doctor that I have faith in

Doc and entire staff were great. They explained everything as things progressed. Very caring bunch. Unfortunately, I got only about a week of lower pain levels. I'll definitely go back again and try a different type of treatment.

I had been to Spine Team of Texas before with Dr Cooper. Dr. Emma I was very though. I was please with the results of my visit. He prescribed some medicine for the pain I was having. It seemed to start working as I was able to get the medicine into my system. I go today for some Physical Therapy to see if it will also help.

Dr. Embabi was very helpful and professional. Lucy for me the discomfort I am experiencing is the same as my initial visit in March 2023. Procedure has been effective since that time up until about 2 weeks ago. Surgery scheduled quickly for next week.

Everyone from the front desk personnel, to the nurses, schedulers and Doctor were very nice and pleasant! Very efficient office!

Dr. Embabi listens and explains, offers alternatives and explains the pros and cons, and also what to expect next visit (if one is needed). He’s confident but not arrogant, and I trust him.

Many of the medical professionals that I have met with seem more interested in getting to the diagnosis without actually listening to my issues, with few exceptions. Dr Embabi is one of those exceptions. He took the time to listen, and then to make sure he understood what we talked about. His efforts are greatly appreciated!

I was attended to promptly and treated with respect. My problem was related to my throat beoing obstructed and I was referred to Texas Spine Doctors by my ENT doctor after x-rays and examination of my throat. The problem was related to a spine spur prtially obstructiony throat passage.

Dr Ahmed Embabi is my doctor as well as my wife's doctor.We could not be more pleased.Every visit with him has been just great.Very kind, knowledgeable, patient, listens closely.He is everything that you would expect from the Spine Team!
