Dr. Ahmad Mahmoud, MD

I do not recommend Dr. Mahmoud.He is not very transparent with his methods, as shown on various review sites as well. I, as a patient was not informed that he will be doing a 'Nasal Endoscopy', that this procedure will cost $1049 for my insurance and I. He only used the flashlight to look into my nose for a few seconds, and saw the same thing my primary physician did with a regular flashlight. I was surprised when I received the bill saying that what was done was considered a 'Nasal Endoscopy', I thought those procedures were only for looking into the sinuses and throat with anesthesia. It was not the case, like many other patients I was blindsided by this, we should at least have been billed way less since it was not a full endosopy. If you are visiting him please make sure to record everything to save yourself from surprise billings.

Dr. Mahmoud treated my sleep apnea with Inspire surgery. The process was simple, easy to understand, and saved me from dealing with CPAP which I can’t stand. Truly life changing procedure with a great doctor that spends the necessary time to treat the patient in front of him, not “just another sick person”.

When I was referred to the Summit clinic I was less than impressed. Too many complaints and was not expecting a good doctor visit. As soon as I met Dr Mahmood, I was wrong!! The visit was great! He is very pleasant, and thorough, and has a great personality. He also gave me answers that other ENT doctors have not been able to. So I definitely give Dr Mahmood 5 stars.

Out of pocket nearly $1,000 for one 20 minute office visit for sinus infection. AFTER insurance. When I complained to billing I was told I signed a waiver. Service was fine. Headache cured, but billing wise, patient beware.

Very professional and helpful doctor and staff. Recommend highly.
