Unwilling to listen, zero time for explanation
My 85 year old aunt saw Dr Al-Hindi as a new patient. Even though she keeps meticulous records of her blood pressure and questioned his rationale, he told her 'everyone at her age SHOULD BE on blood pressure medication'. When she told him the first reading is always high and asked if he was going to repeat it, he said no. Her readings are textbook PERFECT and this would have been extremely ill advised. No wonder this person is so poorly reviewed. I am appalled by his lack of concern and, one could assume, knowledge. I am SO grateful that she had better intuition than to follow his advice without asking more questions. Of course she waited WEEKS for this appointment and will surely be shuffled to the back of the line to begin again.

Great at ordering tests, doesn't know his facts
I recently went to see Al-Hindi for something as a problem I've had for a while. I myself have done a lot of research on the matter at hand, including the percentage of people that have this issue. This man claimed that something studied as people having this issue at only a 15% of adults as something "very common, almost everyone has it." Last I checked, 15% is not "everyone" - not even close! However, he did send in referrals for one test I've been trying to get various cardiologists to do for months as well as calling in a 30-day monitor, a stress test, a sleep test, the works. I very much doubt I will keep him on as my cardiologist and I will talk to my pcp about finding someone else, as this doctor actually used the phrase, and I quote, "I am the heart doctor, you need to trust me." Absolutely not!

My experience with this wonderful doctor is that he took excellent care of my mother. This was the first time we meant Dr. Al-Hindi and it was GOD that sent him to my mom. He did her cath procedure and unfortunately my mom had a light heart attack, she had 100% blockage in her right artery and he was unable to do a stint and made the decision to medically treat her for it. I feel this doctor made a miraculous decision to treat my mom with medication instead of drilling and possibly losing her.
