So Impressed!

Internal Bleeding after Dr. LaJoie procedures
I wrote a review, but I don’t see it anymore. This factual review is an effort to help others make an educated choice for themselves. I saw Dr. Adrienne LaJoie on a zoom call complaining of digestive issues. She suggested an endoscopy and colonoscopy.. Less than 48 hrs after these procedures, I was in the emergency room with massive internal bleeding. I had lost half of my blood and needed her colleague, Dr Signh, no longer there, to perform an emergency surgery to insert 3 hemoclips in 3 spots to stop the bleeding. I was in the hospital fighting for my life for a week after. It was the most traumatic experience I’ve ever had. took me 3 weeks to be able to walk around my backyard without exhaustion and radical spiking heart rates, plus continuous blood lab checks to monitor my blood levels, prescribed medications to help me heal and 2.5 months to be back on my feet. I was diagnosed with PTSD. one of my children needed to therapy to work thru this experience. Choose your doctor wisely.

Dr. La Joie is a brilliant and empathetic provider. She is extremely thorough, diligently works to get to the root of the problem and takes time to explain everything and answer any questions that arise. I am grateful to have her as my provider.

Competent. Calm and Reassuring
I’m most appreciative of the time and interest Dr. LaJoie provided today. She has made herself available by phone and in the office to quell my concerns and oversee my healing. It has taken 5-6 months for the microscopic colitis to calm and she has been overseeing the medicine dosages and my diet through the whole process.

Dr LaJoie is the best and her staff was wonderful!
My husband was very sick and had lost nearly 30 lbs in 3 weeks because he could not keep food down. Dr LaJoie systematically evaluated, throughly investigated, eliminated and then determined the cause. He is now on the road to full recovery. We are so glad to have had her as his doctor. She is the Best!!

My first visit as a new patient
This was my first visit as new patient and I was very excited to see a physician because of my I abdominal pain for past 2 months. I am also a cancer survivor. My cancer had a very long adverse and painful impact on my GI system and I explained that to her that this is not just a stomach upset.Dr Lajoie spent less than 5 minutes with me as a new patient and my condition. she ordered a CT of my abdomen which I told her my oncologist offered the same thing.I did the CT and I didn’t hear any news from her . I read the CT results on my portal same day and when I called the office to ask them what is happening with my CT, they said Dr hadn’t review the CT yet. Her office called me after 2 days to give me the result and no follow up appointment. I still have my symptoms and I went to see a very caring and knowledgeable GI physician at another office. Dr Lajoie didn’t seem a caring physician and this was a very disappointing visit. I don’t recommend Dr Lajoie to my family and friends.

Wonderful doctor
4. Dr. Lajoie is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient.
