I was a disappointed in his bedside manner. As a mental health patient with very good insight regarding my condition, I mentioned the importance of my Faith in my wellness and recovery plan. He did not validate this important aspect and actually said extremely disparaging things about people who believe in and practice the Christian Faith.

Dr Morris was excellent, I was addicted to ultram for back pain from my job and dr morris helped me with suboxone,no more withdrawals, he always did things by the book with urine test and I always passed, but now with dr morris no longer treating patients and from what I was told the office expects people to get weaned of suboxone that they have been taking for years in 3 weeks is ridiculous, it's not going to work, this has turned into a nitemare where a medical phacility is kicking us out.

Dr. Morris is one of the most caring and selfless people I have ever met. The people that say he is not patient or does not listen or does not care, I believe, are projecting their own struggles on to him. He has helped me in so many aspects of my life and I can truly say I would not be here today if it weren’t for him. Thank you for saving my life, Dr. Morris. I could never repay you.

My experience with Dr Morris was far from positive. Dr Morris lacks empathy, care and respect that every patient deserves. He is very demeaning, sarcastic and has a passive-aggressive approach when communicating. Dr Morris did a poor job at listening to my symptoms and offering any sort of support. I highly recommend that if someone is searching for a psychiatrist that is caring, empathetic and understanding, they should not consider Dr Morris.

He threatened me by saying that he never lost a commitment hearing when I wanted to leave Four Winds after voluntarily admitting myself. His threat destroyed trust and rendered my stay less than therapeutic. He could have been more professional and used his skills to convince me that it would be helpful to stay. His words were consistent with the Four Winds philosophy of demeaning treatment of the mentally ill.

Dr Morris is a great doctor and his main concern is helping people become a better person and stay clean. He's my favorite doctor and it's worth driving over 2 hours to get there. He listens and cares about your well being. I work a lot and between going to school and working he always makes sure I'm staying on track. When I complete my schooling and become an RN it will be because of Dr. Morris for helping me when I desperately needed it. Thank you Dr. Morris for caring.

I've had a few visits with Dr. Morris and I am really impressed thus far. He is on time for appointments, listens to my concerns and makes me feel like the expert on my health and well being. The initial appointment was quick (approx. 25 minutes) but I felt like he was thorough. The following appointments have been between 10-15 minutes which is typical. The Troy, NY office is clean and quiet. I would highly recommend Dr. Morris.

To have a well educated, dedicated psychiatrist who takes the time to evaluate you on every aspect of your well-being & to go out of his way to make you feel like your not just a #, is extremely gratifying in itself .I've been one of the lucky few that have had the opportunity to have a professional/client relationship with Dr.Morris over 2 decades.Sever Panic disorder/agoraphobia then later in life, an opioid addiction. I cant imagine my life had we never crossed paths. He's beyond comparrsion
