Dr. Karamali is great. Wonderful sense of humor and personality. Really knows his stuff and is respected by other doctors. Patient and good at explaining things. I've only been seeing him once a year for three years now, but I have a really good feeling about him.

I would leave a zero but that was not an option
This man was rude to my family. Called his partner an "idiot" for agreeing to coordinate care with Cleveland Clinic and told my parents not to come to his practice. He was just a real jerk. Stay Away!!! This unprofessional behavior happened while my father was hospitalized at St. Lukes.

Last February, covid was in the news, the President issued the travel ban a month earlier. This was my first visit with my new cardiologist, Dr. Karamali after my OHS 5 months prior. He walked in the room, closed the door, turned his head and coughed 3 times without covering his mouth, came over to me and shook my hand. I was dumbfounded. I have no idea what was said during the appointment. Of all people, he should know better. I am on the hunt for a new cardio.

My oncologist, Dr. Ali Raufi, had concerns about the unusual decline in my labs that didn't seem to make sense near the end of my chemo sessions. He made a phone call on my behalf to Dr. Karamali who agreed to see me first thing the next morning. The insight, skill and compassion of these two men resulted in the intervention of a possible extremely serious situation involving pulmonary emboli in the course of a single day. I am deeply indebted to these two doctors.

The doctor I originally saw had left the practice. I was happy with the practice and was referred to dr. Karamali. I saw him several times after having my stent put in. On a six month follow up appointment he had a medical student with him. He was looking at my medical history and asked me why I was on so many medications to treat my diabetes. I was flabbergasted....what was I suppose to say. He is the doctor..... needless to say, I switched to another doctor.

While I was impressed with his knowledge and with the amount of time that he spent with me as a new patient, I was very disappointed with the follow-up after the visit. I had tests performed and was told that the results were fine even though there were clearly some issues to be discussed. The nurse did not return my phone calls, so I set up an appointment. After waiting about two hours I was told that neither the doctor or the nurse would be available to see me. My PCP wants me to go elsewhere.
