Staff is probably the worst I have ever seen anywhere. As far as the doctor he speaks well, but when a doctor tells you "I cant help you, and responds with its not going to hurt you regarding my pain..thats horrible. Did nothing for me but refer me to other Doctors

Very good Dr. Very Knowledgeable and takes time to really explain. Highly recommend.

Worst office I have ever seen. My 89 year old father has gone to dr e for 5 years. He is acutely ill today and the office will not talk to us because they are “in a meeting” until 1100. We told them it was an emergency but they did not care. We had to take him to the ER. In the past it has been easier to drive to the office than call them on the phone for basic physician services

He doesn't keep his telemedicine appointments - my mother has been waiting since Monday it is now Thursday after 5 PM - everyday she calls and they say he'll call you today and still nothing! So sad for the Elderly!! And the way they talk to her and treat her when she calls is condescending- no care involved!

My husband and I have been seeing the Evangelista family for many years and they obviously follow high level standard of care. My husband had been to several physicians and specialists and finally found the best in the Evangelistas. They are honest and forthright with whatever we need to know. It's nice to know they feel the same way we do about the big box health care system. A friend had referred me to them many years ago because of the quality care they received and they did not disappoint.

My husband has been going to Dr. Evangelista for over 6 years and is extremely happy with him. He has been a huge support person in dealing with his pancreatic cancer and issues resulting from his cancer. He is a very caring Dr. & my husband is totally happy with his care and knowledge.

Dr Bert is a true doctor for the people. Good hearted guy with his patients true needs in mind. After getting to know him and finding out that he doesn’t care about the big box run of the mill health care it is clear to see why he has such loyal patients. True health professional offering personal touch service that you just don’t seem to find these days in heath care. Jacob

I have been to 3 different doctors in yuma, Dr. Evangelista by far has showen more interest of taking care of my issue. He is very considered and understandig doctor that goes out of his way to take care of the patient.

Evangelista Family has become ours. We have been patients since right before the move. Many changes. Dr Evangelista is a great doctor who takes his time and helps get to the root of the problem, they both do. The wait is longer during the winter, but it's always worth it. It's easy to find doctors, but it's hard to find GREAT ones. And the staff is hard to beat, those ladies handle with care. For quality, the wait is worth it. Hard working family for Yuma families. The office is clean, the staff are all helpful, courteous, friendly and respectful. We have been patients for over 6 years. We are treated with compassion and provided with extremely good medical care. With all the health issues we deal with, we get treated as soon as possible. Phone system is better. We get through to a person and leave a message. We get called back the same day with solution.

Forget about getting through on the phone. It's literally impossible to get in touch with anyone via the phone. Today, I have made over 30 calls to both of their phone numbers and nobody has answered. Dr. Evangelista is a nice person, but they are currently not equipped to handle any patient load on their phone system. This is the 21st century, correct????

My Dad who is 87 has been seeing Dr. E. for 4 years. I go with him to his appointments and was so impressed that I told my husband about him. My Husband has been his patient also for 3 years. Even though the wait time is usually long, Dr. E is. very patient with his patients and I have never felt rushed once he has come in to see us. I like his idea of treating his patients not only for the condition but also for what age they are. He always likes to weigh the pros & cons of a treatment.

I would very definitely recommend Dr Evangelista due to his knowing your medical problems & doing what has to be done to relieve them. He is interested in ME when I go to him.

My family has been under Dr Evangelistas care since 2012 and i always feel safe and taken care of. He has been an excellent doctor to me and my kids.

I'm so dissapointed,my husband recently got stationed in Japan and when I go request my medical records and then go pick them up 2 weeks later they explain that they never requested them so again I had to wait another week and a half. Next after I finally get my records and take them on base for a medical screening they inform me that my papsmear results came up concerning and I would have to retake to make sure my cells aren't cancerous I was never told any of this information by Dr evangelista
