Dr. Adebowale Prest, MD

I stopped going to Patient First in Laurel because of this doctor. She was cold and demeaning. She has very little compassion and she acted like she was annoyed we were there. We just got a letter from Laurel Patient First that she moved on. I assume they were losing patients because of her. Personally, I once called there before I went for a sinus infection just to be sure she wasn’t there. I guess others did too and the letter was to say it’s safe to return. I never got a letter from them telling me other doctors left.

Dr. Prest is my new primary at Rose Hill Family Practice in Cambridge, MD. Just recently had my first physical with her. She was very pleasant and thorough and I liked her "bed-side" manner. I also appreciated that even though I am borderline in some areas she did not push medications on me. Instead, she listened to me and is willing to work with me on areas that I need to improve.

I came to see Dr. Prest in Laurel after I had a car accident. I had a lot of pain in my back and was having a hard time at work. Another doctor gave me pain medication and a muscle relaxer which did not help much. Dr. Prest suggested some alternatives which made me feel so much better fast. She was super nice and I really appreciated her for fixing me up. I was really hurting.

I disagree with the only other reviewer who posted the comment. I think Dr. Prest was awesome! I had gotten horrible treatment from another doctor, a dermatologist in Columbia who shall remain nameless, so I was pleasantly surprised when she listened to me and prescribed medicine for my son that he could take to help his skin issues. I think she had great bedside manner, especially so late in the evening and after a long day. I would recommend her for sure because I received awesome care!

Not sure how to describe this Doctor, but I left with a sense of conviction that she shouldn't be a Doctor. She lacks the ability to connect with a patient. She appears robotic, cold and uncaring.
