Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael, MD

Our family has been going Dele Michael for years and I was completely disgusted today by the doctor and her staff. Not only her office is unresponsive, sending surprise bill half a year later, today was the final straw when she tried to price gauge me 8000%!!! As soon as I walked in the nasty receptionist asked me where my mask was. I had no idea this was still required (honest mistake), nobody from her office told me to have one but I was treated like some sort of criminal. In fact, the office even texted me to remind me about my appointment, but nowhere did it state I had to have a mask (a failure on their part). In any case the mask is not even a problem as I would of gladly put one on if I had one and would of gladly paid for one if it was reasonably priced! What really was disgusting is that they tried to sell me one for $5 (while it costs 0.06 cents). And then they said if I don’t like it I was welcome to leave, so I left. Dele Michael you should be ashamed of yourself!!

Her staff were incredibly rude. They changed the date of my appointment without letting me know, and when I showed up at the time I had originally scheduled, they tried to gaslight me about it and responded very aggressively to my confusion about it all. I am certain I didn't schedule the appointment at the date they had me for because I had a trip planned for that date. I wouldn't schedule an appointment for a date when I knew I wouldn't even be in town. Dr. Dele-Michael was not rude, but she barely paid attention to me when she saw me.

I saw this doctor for several months. I was misdiagnosed several times and even given very expensive treatments that not only didn’t work, but weren’t applicable to my condition. This dermatologist failed to recognize severe eczema...for months. She also refused to sign insurance paperwork unless I paid her $150 with a wait time of 30 days. When I explained to her that that was unreasonable, she told me she would no longer see me as a patient. During my time with her, my symptoms got so severe, I was hospitalized. Three times. It took another dermatologist in the hospital to diagnose me appropriately and give me the medicine I needed. In the meantime, Dr. Dele Michael insisted I pay for other expensive treatments that had nothing to do with my skin problem. Her staff was rude and equally neglectful. I would not recommend this doctor. To anyone. Your health will not be prioritized, and you won’t be treated with dignity.

Felt completely disrespected and taken advantage of. I made an appointment with Dr. Del-Michael but was only seen by her assistant. Such a waste of time and money. Obviously this doctor doesn't care about her patients since she couldn't even take the time to see me - a brand new patient. Will never come back here again and will tell others to go elsewhere.

SHE IS EXCELLENT. YOU GET YOUR MONEY WORTH. This doctor knows her stuff....wait time was reasonable as I arrived 10-15 mns late due to a train delay.
