I got my life back!!
After getting ghosted by my primary doctor, Dr VanHuis was able to see me in a timely matter and was able to schedule testing quickly, keeping my upcoming wedding in mind. I'm so grateful for the quick turn around after weeks of no answers from my primary.

Disappointing
Dissapointung, I feel he needs more experience. I've had two boughts with pancreatitis which the hospital first believed was from a medicine reaction. I came here as a follow up to my hospital visit and immediately he says is I need to have my gallbladder removed. Just 2 weeks earlier I was told by two other doctors at the hospital I had some gallstones but that they didn't look bad. I then asked him about food and lifestyle changes and got a puzzled look and some vague answers. It felt like surgery was his default approach. But a red flag went up when said if the surgery does not help there are other approaches. Sounded like he didn't really know what was causing my issue.Several times in the past I had doctors who also immediately said I needed surgery, nearly all were wrong and I avoided several unnecessary surgeries. My visit here felt eerily like those.I feel surgery should not be a last alternative not first approach.
