Perfect Experience
I went to see Dr. Suslak for severe hip pain. Dr. Suslak had a great bedside manner and had reviewed my X-rays before he came in the exam room. He knew what was going on and had multiple options for me to choose from as to allow me to participate in my care and treatment. He kept eye contact with me and engaged in my care and my understanding of my situation and how to treat it. I would recommend him to anyone.

Positive visit
First off I was very appreciative of Dr Suslak offering to wear a mask as I had one on and told him my spouse was severely immunocompromised . I relayed my history and current symptoms to him. He had reviewed my X-rays and performed testing , made a tentative diagnosis. Recommended and had the office schedule an MRI and follow up all within a week. He was pleasant professional and competent. I would definitely recommend him as well as the office staff. Visit ran like a well oiled machine

Very rude and arrogant
Dr. Suslak is the most rude and arrogant doctor I have ever dealt with! He is very cocky, and shows no compassion. His bedside manner was appalling and he kept looking at his watch as if I was bothering him. He actually said I was wasting his time! I left there in tears. I will never go to him again. He also violates HIPPA as he leaves the door wide open every time he comes in the room evaluating you. I went to him with severe pain, and left each time in tears! He does not listen to his patients. He cuts you off when trying to speak! His office definitely takes on way too many patients as well. Horrible experience!

Excellent and knowledgeable
Thankful I found Dr Suslak! He’s provided me honest, accurate, professional, and practical care for several conditions. After 25 plus years of hip pain he was the first doctor that diagnosed my torn labrum - before imaging confirmed his diagnosis. He worked with me on a care plan I was comfortable with and didn’t push surgery until we had exhausted my other options. He’s friendly and easy to talk with. Recently, I’ve been having elbow and shoulder pain and I am thankful I could see him for this new injury. He continued to provide top notch care. I will continue to see him for any of my future orthopedic needs and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has orthopedic care needs in the capital district.

Great visit
I couldn’t believe I got a same day appointment for my knee pain! Dr. Suslak and his PA were kind, caring and efficient. I was out the door in 45 minutes with a pt referral, and appointments for mri and follow-up with Dr. Suslak. 10 out of 10.

Very rude and condescending
I took my son to see Dr. Suslak yesterday for ongoing hip pain from a sports injury in early summer. He had gone to a chiropractor who had ordered an MRI showing he had a tear in both of his hip joints. When Dr. Sulack came in, he was very degrading. He started off by telling me all that we had done wrong first off, going to a chiropractor who ordered the MRI wrong, and not going to see him first as we should have known to do from the beginning. When I asked about scheduling a proper MRI, he said we’re not going to bother because it will show the same results so I’m confused as to how the wrong MRI was ordered to begin with if it shows the exact same end. My son is 17, he plays multiple sports and he was just going to continue having him take OTC meds to help with pain. Upon pushing further for more treatment, he agreed to do a Cortizone injection in his hip and follow up in 2 to 3 weeks. We will no longer be going to see him and I’ve already started care with another doctor.

Great Doctor
Dr. Suslak was very attentive and responsive to my injury. He listened to me and trusted what I said. Because of this he ordered the proper tests and in only 2 visits I knew exactly what I faced. He also performed the surgery to repair my injury which was a success. Highly recommend.

My daughter had a swollen ankle, called to get her seen and got an appointment the next day. She was screened and an X-ray ordered so the doctor had that to look at before seeing her. It was exactly what we wanted, straight and to the point. Thank you for making this an easy process.

My visits with Dr. SUSLACK are always a pleasure! He's very understanding and always willing to share what resources that are out there to help with your injury like Physical therapy and things like that. Very imformative in the field that he's in and takes his time to listen to the patients and uses sound judgement when it comes to doing what's best for his patients. I have been going to see Dr. SUSLACK on and off for years to recieve care on my knee. He's been the best! I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a doctor to take care of such injuries as mines. Very respectful and caring as well.
