GOOD LUCK getting an APPT
Dr. Gorelick is really great...but good luck getting an appointment. I had an appointment with a PA as a routine follow up for May 2...I received a letter saying that they had a scheduling issue and had to reschedule and so I called to get a new appointment. I was told they could not get me back in until October 24th!!!!!!!! I started laughing on the phone with the poor scheduler, because of the absurdity (it's almost 6 months and I'm not the one that cancelled the appt)!! It certainly makes me wonder what I could expect if I had an urgent issue. In a world where practices are subject to STAR ratings, this is a VERY poor rating when it comes to patient experience.

Horrible
I have a history of infectious colitis and went to ER.I went to see Dr. Gorelick the next day and expressed how angry I was that he was dismissing my symptoms. Instead of apologizing he told me that it wasn’t serious and that I basically wasted the ER’s time by going in. I was told it wasn’t serious because I was not admitted. Most people don’t go to the ER to get admitted, they go to get help which is exactly what I needed. His medical advice was to suck it up and tough it out until it got better. I would not have received the antibiotics I needed if I didn’t go to the ER. This is not how a doctor should treat his patients. As I mentioned earlier I have a pretty compromised immune system, my body does not fight off infections like normal immune systems do. So the suck it up and tough it out method when my pain level is at an 8 or 9 is not the medical care I should have received. Dr. Gorelick is what's wrong with the medical world right now and not actually caring about his patients.
