Insulting
Incredibly rude and uncaring doctor. I went in for an exam, and was told “my weight was creeping up” with a 5 pound difference in over a years time. I explained I was obese and recently worked to lose 70 pounds and his reply was “oh were you a big fattie ?” Appointment was rushed, and felt like he was TRYING to lose a patient. Do not go here.

His office staff is rude and their answer to everything is "sorry but....." I wonder if he knows how unprofessional they are. Healthcare is a profession where you are dealing with people who are I'll and under stress. Don't expect any help at this office.. you will be met with "sorry, but...."

I was referred to Dr. Adam when Dr. Morgan resigned. I understand he has only been in practice for 6 years, but has a wealth of knowledge. I am grateful to him for helping me understand how to cope with my husband's dementia. I couldn't recommend him higher.

He seemed fantastic at first, but there are obvious signs of miscommunication between him and the office staff. Unfortunately when you rely on your office staff to inform you about your patients, then it becomes lost in translation. Also, I'm pretty sure that he means well when he suggests a solution to a problem, but he doesn't obtain all of the facts and/or changes his mind later on. Pretty sure that it's mostly the office staff (which a couple of them are snobby and rude).

Dr. Fitzgerald is a wondeful doctor! He is charismatic, knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond what I could have ever expected in my primary care doctor. He helped me through an incredibly tough time and followed up, was thorough and made it clear he truly cared about my well being. Don't know what I would have done without Dr. Adam these past several years. Would highly rec to anyone!

I have found Dr. Fitzgerald to be friendly and extremely personable. I believe making him my Primary Care Physician was a very good choice. I have never been disappointed with the St. Anthony's staff. I would recommend him to my family and friends with no hesitation.

Dr. Adam Fitzgerald and the staff are very nice, prompt and seem to truly care for their patience. I have been a patient of Dr. Fitzgerald for a few years now and I couldn't have asked for a better referral. I am very pleased with the time he spends with me, he doesn't rush me or make me feel like I am impeding on his time.

Dr Fitzgerald has been my son's doctor since both he and we moved to Saint Louis. My son has autism and epilepsy and Dr Fitzgerald has never ever been anything less than 110% with us at all times. He sees us on the spur of the moment & always does what is in my son's best interest.
