Dr. Adam Cohen, MD

I’m a new patient of Dr. Cohen’s (been seeing him for about 6 months.) I’ve been in and out of other doctors’ offices trying to find a good psychiatrist with good bedside manner and knows medication, but it’s been really tough. Dr. Cohen is great. He has a nice way about him and is very smart. He understands me and figured out the appropriate meds for me really quickly. If I need him in between appointments, he’s very responsive by email. I would highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Cohen for 7 years. I decided to write a review today because it took me so long to find an amazing psychiatrist that would listen to me and would help me find the proper medication so I could ultimately start feeling better. Dr. Cohen is the 4th psychiatrist that I have seen. I tried to stay in network, but ultimately decided to go out of network as all of the in-network doctors weren’t great. Seeing Dr. Cohen has been a life changing experience. I referred three friends to him this past year (he finally is taking new patients after many years of being on a hold) who all feel better and think he’s well worth going out of network. He’s got great bedside manner, he always makes himself available for me and he bottom line knows his stuff inside and out. He is super smart and very up with today’s meds. I am writing this post since I want to help other people that may be struggling and can’t find the right doctor. Make the call. Get the appointment! It’s worth it!

I have been seeing Dr. Cohen for over five years now. I find him knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He offers insights and suggestions that are valuable to whatever I am struggling with at the time I see him. I would definitely recommend him! I feel that he is trustworthy and honest. A quality you don’t always find. I truly like that I can also have an appointment with Dr. Cohen for simply a “check-in” when things are going well. No medical crisis or stresses… no conflicts. A doctor you can trust!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Cohen for approximately 10 years. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable and is totally committed to his patients. He will do whatever it takes for his patients to receive the best care possible. He relates to patients of all ages and has a way of making you very feel comfortable (as well as ensures he gives you all the time you need). I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for an excellent psychiatrist!

Dr. Cohen is simply the best. I have been his patient for years. He has always treated me with respect. He is very flexible, always accommodating my needs.

Dr Cohen has been treating my children since they were in high school. They are now in their late to mid twenties and doing remarkably great. Not only is he professional and thorough, he gives them the time they need to talk things through. Dr. Cohen has been very flexible while my kids were in their college years with availablity. He is very knowledgeable in his field and has a great network of specialists if needed.

Dr. Cohen has been great to me over the past 5 years or so and helped me overcome some difficult times in my life. His empathy, guided questions, professionalism, and interpersonal skills are what have made me stay with him through the years. He is truly a genuinely good guy that can be a tremendous help to anyone in need. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Dr. Cohen!
