Dr. Cavallero is a thorough, highly competent physician. Through carefully prescribed medications, he got my blood pressure down from dangerously high levels to superb levels in a manner of months (after years of my blood pressure being mismanaged by other doctors). Dr. Cavallero explains test results in a comprehensive yet easily understood manner. He is also personable and engaging. In my opinion he’s an excellent physician.

Went in for a physical exam. Didn’t do a thing, except ask me to take 5!deep breaths; this, despite me having serious chronic conditions. Went ahead and wrote some referrals for specialists. Didn’t bother to ask me any questions about what life style choices I’m making, but proceeded to make a whole host of assumptions that I am not taking care of myself. Fat shamed too, even though I am not fat. Completely worthless.

Upon an initial consult, I simply indicated that I preferred to have a female provider perform my 'well woman' examinations. Immediately Cavallero's demeanor changed, acting offended and put off. Then I accessed my medical records and found that Cavallero provided false information. I was shocked. I have seen many male physicians and have had no challenges with them, they have been a delight. This was just an ugly encounter.
