Dr. Blau was very reassuring when I was diagnosed with a large suspicious growth in my gallbladder. Surgery and follow up were great. Everything turned out fine!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr Blau. I am a 69 year old patient who had a ventral hernia operation done by Dr Blau. He has a great bedside manner, answers all of your questions and two days after the operation I feel much better than I anticipated. He uses leading technology in his procedures producing a minimally invasive procedure. I strongly recommend him for any surgical procedure that you might have within his field of expertise.

I cannot recommended Blau highly enough. From my first visit, which was moved up so I could be seen a week sooner to my final post op visit I could not have been in better hands. The staff was excellent and accommodating. Dr Blau has an amazing personality that is only surpassed by his skills as a surgeon. He explained everything thoroughly and leftPlenty of room for questions. My scats are straight and beautiful! A nice bonus. Recovery was easy. Should you require abdominal surgery you’d be wise to choose Dr Blau. There is no better.

Dr. Blau is truly phenomenal. He truly cares about his patients and wants to get them feeling better. After a miserable experience with other facility, Dr. Blau took the time to properly diagnose and come up with a plan. He even went above and beyond to get me scheduled for surgery timely, as he was concerned about the level of pain I was in. Surgery went so well, and I felt so comfortable in his hands. Could not recommend him enough!

Dr Blau is a terrific doctor. He listens to your concerns and answers all of your questions. He takes the time to explained everything. You do not feel rushed in his office at all. I can not say enough about this great Dr.

Dr. Blau is an excellent Doctor. Had hernia repair on November 1. From the first consult to the follow up, he explained everything that was going to happen so you would understand. His bedside manner was excellent, took the time to answer your questions. Would not hesitate to call on him again if need be. Have had no issues from the surgery and after a couple of days was almost back to normal.

Dr Blau and his team were amazing throughout the whole process (pre surgery, surgery day, and post surgery). I had a hernia surgery and Dr Blau explained exactly what I was to expect during the surgery and during the recovery period. The surgery was a complete success and the recovery has been even better than I expected. I also really appreciated how nice and helpful his team (nurses, anesthesia team, etc) was throughout the whole process. I couldn’t have been any happier with my overall experience.

Due to diverticulitis ended up with an emergency Hartman's procedure and temporary colostomy bag. Dr Blau always checked on me and stayed in touch with my family members to keep them updated. Great bedside manner and very personable. I would refer him to others!

Dr Blau is a skilled surgeon and has a great bedside manner; his explanations are clear and accurate, his staff friendly and efficient. Dr Blau did my abdominal hernia repair at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Wakefield, MA. Everything worked out great, my experience was positive, and I am very satisfied with the results. I met Dr. Blau 7 months ago in an emergency situation at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Lucky for me, he was the doctor on duty that night. He was a GEM of a person. He listened to me. I have found being a womenthat many Drs. tend to be dismissive, but Dr. Blau is the total opposite.He is a kind, knowledgeable, informative, explains the reasons behind conditions and the measures on how he'll fix them. I didn't require his service in surgery that time in the emergency room, but hemade such a positive impression on me that 6 months later I searched him out tomake 2 hernia repairs in me. I just got released from the hospital yesterday. I feel amazing, 10lbs. lighter. My surgery went very well, not too much pain,very tiny incisions, and I got released when I was ready to go home.I have never had such attention from any surgeon before, and I have had 6 othersurgeries in my lifetime. I met with Dr. Blau when I thought I had a hernia. He ran some test and the scan showed that I did in fact have a hernia on the left side. After careful consideration and repair af a previous hernia I decided to schedule the surgery. This man is amazing! He found that there were 3 hernias and repaired them with no problem. He followed-up with me when he knew I was so nervous. I would highly recommend him for any type of surgery. He is honest, very knowledgeable, caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is the type of doctor that will return your call!

I recently moved here from a different state and needed surgery on my arm for a lipoma that had developed in my muscle. After reading all his reviews and meeting him I new he was the one that I could put my trust in. Dr. Blau spends the time to explain and answer all the concerns you have before surgery and after. I would highly recommend him for any surgical needs that you may have. Surgery is not an easy decision and to have a Dr. who truly cares is very important. My experience with his staff was also wonderful and were again always available to help with any concerns.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Blau is. He made me feel at ease the minute I meet him. When I told him my issue he listened and totally understood my concern. Dr. Blau is a great communicator. He explains everything necessary, with ease and without the feeling of being rushed. I had two hernias repaired with da vinci robot with mesh. It was easy, with little pain and discomfort. I highly recommend the procedure, along with Dr. Blau. He is professional, confident, great energy and accessible if you have questions.
