Dissatisfied service
Was in the ER for over seven hours. The first doctor was thorough. The second doctor, Dr. Belachew, never even introduced himself to me that he was taking over my care, and I only saw him when I was leaving the ER. I had been waiting so long. I took out the IV myself and that’s when he came over and told me normally nurses do that. Dr. Belachew then handed me discharge papers in Spanish and didn’t go over anything that they’d ruled out or any differential diagnosis just that everything was normal. I don’t speak Spanish and no one asked me if I did. I was waiting several hours for bloodwork. After the first doctor told me he would be leaving at midnight and there would be a shift change, and only when I flagged down Dr. Belachew and asked how long it would be until my tests. I had to flag down a nurse to ask how long my CT was before I was taken in for a scan.
