Dr. Barrison is the absolute best gastroenterologist. He is very easy to talk to, he remembers you and your situations. I feel very comfortable in his hands. It's so important to have trust in your physician and feel secure. He definitely makes you feel that way.

Nice man and competent surgeon but if you are looking for personalized care, suggest moving on. Tele med visits feel rushed as if the colonoscopy screening more of an assembly line approach. In my case, the surgeon def did not pay attention to my past history and morphology when preparing me for a recent procedure. Disappointed would be an understatement.

Dr. Barrison is a very nice guy and no doubt a very knowledgeable doctor. Those 2 things, though, did not come together to help my daughter, who has been suffering with an issue for many years. He gave her a diagnosis and not much else. Thankfully we found another gastroenterologist who took his time with her and is now helping her manage her symptoms, which had been impacting her daily life. Like much of the SMG lately, Dr. Barrison seems too rushed, running from one patient to the next.

Dr. Barrison is the best! He helped my son with his UC and CDif issues last year. He was always attentive and patient to his needs and worked with him to find the correct regimen whatever it took. My son has since moved out of state but if an issue comes up in regards to his condition, Dr Barrison will actually take the time to address the concern. Amazing! Trust him 100% And I can't forget about Carmen, his assistant. She is awesome about setting appts, responding promptly about questions
