Best doctor I ever had
He always asks if there is 'anything else' and prompts for all issues to be reported. He is very smart and helped to diagnose an issue I had for many years that other doctors missed.

Very good experience
I am extremely relieved to have found a cardiologist that listens to me and answers my questions. I was pretty discouraged trying to figure out how to move forward in my life after my open heart surgery almost 4 years ago. The office staff is also wonderful, competent easy to reach out too and always ready to help. I highly recommend Dr.Adelbert and his staff to anyone looking for a cardiologist and or a primary care specialist.

Good Doc
Ended up with an abnormal stress test as the result of surgical clearance for eyelid surgery as ordered by Dr. Nayar. I did not have any symptoms though. A cat scan of the heart revealed an 80% blockage in the widowmaker artery. Dr Philip sent me over to St Francis to his teacher when he was in med school who did an angiogram(Great doc) and placed 2 stents in blocked area. Got lucky- new lease on life for me.

Do not recommend
Three years of visits and this doctor couldn't tell me if my PVCs were a problem or not. Tests were ordered with no follow through - office staff: left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Doctor put himself down as my PCP instead of my real PCP. My PCP told me that he did the same with all of the patients that she sent to him. Found a new cardiologist and after one round of tests was told that my PVCs are not dangerous and we will monitor.

Avoid like the plague
Avoid. It is a factory with no personal attention. The doctor allocates 15 min per patient, even if you are new. The staff is awful. My medication through mail pharmacy was placed with errors - 0 doses and 0 days indicated (this is what you get when the doctor spends minimal amount of time on you). It took me almost 2 weeks and hours on the phone with the office/pharmacy to get the office to contact the pharmacy. The new order they placed was also incorrect (1 dose for 1 day instead of 3 month supply!), so I had to cancel. My first and last visit, will keep shopping around for a new doctor.

My husband and I switched to Dr. Pilip and we are so glad. My husband was under the care of another doctor. Dr Pilip did some tests and sent him to St. Frances for a test that saved my husband’s life. He had a 99 percent His office staff is friendly and the office is very clean. I’ve had a great response for prescription refills and a great response from the on call doctor after hours. Dr Philip is great and I’m so happy that we switched !

Dr. Pilip's office is just a mill. When he listens to my heart with his stethoscope, it's a quick 1 second listen. There's no way you can hear anything with that. I've been in the health industry as a professional and it's a joke. Find yourself a 'real professional' who truly cares about his patients. Not too many of those left.

Between the questionable ethics of the doctor trying to sell patients MLM "electrolyte water" during appointments, and the back and forth visits to the pharmacy due to their insistence on writing prescriptions not allowing substitutions, I would suggest anybody looking for a doctor for serious medical issues steer far and clear of this office.

You are only a name here - nothing more! I have been a patient for many years, thankfully not having to see the doctor much during that time. However, 3 weeks ago, I had to start taking blood pressure medicine. I had a general question for the doctor and he refused to speak to me unless I came to the office for a visit. I told the receptionist I did not feel comfortable coming to the office with all the Covid cases and could he just answer my question over the phone or do a telehealth visit - and he said NO, that I had to come to his office. What a DISGRACE!!

Idiots! Dr pilip and his office, especially Samantha, no follow thru, take the money and not take care if the patient. Dr Philip and his office are unreliable. 90 year old mother in law needed cardiology clearance fir surgery. Dr pilip was supposed to send clearance to the surgeon, surgeon trying to reach Pilip the idiot to get clearance. Dr pilip has chosen not to answer, and not to do his job. Ridiculous, my mother in law already started surgery prep. Now surgeon has to get cardiology clearance at the hospital. Dr Pilip you need to be reported to the state board. The stress you are causing our family is not necessary. Pilip office closed and nothing was done.

At first when I got Dr. Pilip after my last doctor retired, I was excited to meet him. After regular treatment, though, it became harder and harder to get him to listen to me. He focuses on individual symptoms, and prescribes medications to address them without trying to understand what is causing the symptoms -- and without considering how the medication affected my other disorders. I always feel rushed and that he is not considering the full picture of my health, and dismisses me when I go to do my own research.

On the day of my visit for a check up with my doctor I was told she retired and Dr Pilip was now who I get. He sat across the room from me and asked questions but never once examined me. Then billed my insurance company for a new patient exam.

I went to Dr. Pilip because I wasn’t feeling well and was getting easily winded. On my 1st visit there was an EKG ordered. He initially said he didn’t like what he saw. Fortunately, he decided the best action was to bypass a stress test and go straight for an angiogram. He and his staff got me in touch with St. Francis hospital and made the arrangements. The angiogram indicated that I had an 80% blockage and was very fast on my way to a heart attack. His quick diagnosis gave me a 2nd lease on life for which I am so grateful. However, when I went to see him for a follow up, I had to explain that I wasn’t feeling much better and that getting winded was truly affecting my life. Dr. Pilip took time asked a lot of questions and decided that a combination of breathing medication was necessary. Along with that send me for allergy testing. At the end it was determined that my allergies contributed to my inability to properly breathe. All is good now thanks to Dr. Pilip and his team.
