Lied to me about surgical recovery details before I signed the consent form, then admitted that he lied during the post op. Avoid at all costs.

Reassurance
Dr. Glaser and his staff provide comprehensive and considerate care in the screening for prostate cancer through a thorough explanation of anticipated procedures coupled with attention to patient comfort. The follow-up with findings was prompt and pertinent. I am relieved to know that I could not have asked for or expected better care. He is truly a very dutiful doctor.

Worst experience with a first time consultation
If I could give ZERO stars, I would! Right from the first step into the room, he was so arrogant. He didn't care to listen to what I had to say and made me feel like an idiot and talked down to me the entire visit. While hospital doctors and my PCP are all trying to help get me an answer, this 'doctor' pretty much slammed the door in my face and wasn't willing to help me. His response was 'I think they're all barking up the wrong tree'. Unacceptable. Terrible bedside manner. Will NOT recommend him to anyone.

Avoid !
Absolutely THE worst doctor I have ever seen and let alone perform surgery on me. He screwed up my procedure and had no answers after and sent me packing. Luckily there are other more capable doctors in town who fixed me. This guy is rude, uncaring and incompetent. AVOID!!

Thank You
Dr Glazer removed 6 kidney stones from my R kidney yesterday. The procedure was about an hour. I went to see Dr Glazer for a second opinion and am grateful to have been cared for by him and his team. He is a wonderful Dr / Surgeon.

Absolute worst doctor I have ever been to see. I don’t think I have ever met anyone as arrogant. Clearly has no interest in listening to questions, and or concerns. Sought out a second opinion, got an actual diagnosis and am feeling much better. No thanks to him. Don’t waste your time with this guy.

Would not recommend
I did not mesh with him well. Seemed aloof and did not answer questions to my satisfaction. I sought out second opinions and felt more comfortable with other physicians.

Humiliating and condescending
I saw him for a complex pain issue with urology and gynecology and refused to acknowledge the level of pain I was having and talked down to me and said was humiliating when I expressed fear at the procedures. Degraded me verbally in front of a nurse who said nothing. Disgusted at this man.

Sweet Relief
I'm very grateful to Dr. Glazer for rectifying my BXO malady. His repair has lasted 10 years and I'm still going, in reference to urination, strong! He recently brought me peace of mind with a series of diagnostic measures which ultimately ruled out a possible malignancy. I value his years of experience and appreciated his directness, general demeanor , and sense humor. Mark Loria — Oct 05, 2021

Poor follow up post procedure. I had to call his practice to schedule my own post surgery appointment since no one ever called me and it was not included in the instructions. Bedside manner was horrible, the worst I have ever seen in healthcare. Very abrupt with answers and became annoyed when I asked questions and pressed for clarification about MY body and the next steps in treatment. Left me feeling humiliated and borderline violated.

Sad Patient in Rochester, NY – May 23, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Glazer?
Waited 2 mo & took time off work for appointment w Dr. Glazer that was double booked. I do not live locally or drive. I waited an hour to see Dr Glazer w no apology for my wait. I already had my blood work done and was being seen for a pre-existing condition. This was documented in my medical records as well as the treatment I received. Instead of treatment I was told to get more unnecessary tests & come back to see his PA. This would take more time, time off, $, and travel to see his assistant.

If you like assembly line medicine you may have a different opinion. Be prepared with your questions as he will be out the door quickly. His grim recommendations concerned me sufficiently to get additional opinions, none of which aligned with his. I can overlook his lack of empathy, but trust in a doctor's judgement/recommendations is essential. Urology includes a lot of different conditions so maybe he is stronger in other aspects, but I lost confidence in him.

I am an RN who had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Glazer who was on call covering for a partner, he not only insulted me, but refused to help the patient I was calling about. Pompous, rude, arrogant and insulting to professionals helping care for his patients.
