Dr. Abdel-Kader saw me at the Providence Urgent Care Clinic after I was diagnosed with DVT in the emergency room the night before. Having not set up a Primary Care Physician relationship, I was totally unprepared to manage this health challenge. Dr. Abdel-Kader treated me, counseled me, led me through the steps of how to manage this new phase of life, and gave me the prescription I needed to obtain medication.
