He Can Not Detect Dementia
My dad was showing many signs of dementia (spending thousands a month on charity, not remembering appointments, unable to check phone messages...etc.). I called the office numerous times and finally was able to speak to Dr. Chatterjee. He said he could "smell Alzheimer's five miles away" and my dad didn't have it. Needless to say we are going somewhere else.

BEYOND rude and severely lacking in compassion. Tried to make our entire family feel incompetent until realizing I was a nurse. Once finding out that information, asked me where I worked and attempted to “test” my nursing knowledge. Avoid this man at all costs.

I have never been treated so poorly by a physician. My father was in the hospital, we weren’t allowed to see him due to COVID; which was understandable. Because we could not see him, we had questions. I started asking questions about the care, medications, treatment plan, etc. He asked me if I was a pulmonologist because I questioned a specific treatment. I explained I was not, but I have earned a Doctorate in Nursing and am a cardiac nurse of many years advocating for my father. He replied that it did not matter and invited me to come in the next day to get a lesson on pulmonology with him. He then told my father he was done answering questions and walked out of the room. I have never been insulted in such a manner. My father now questions the care he will receive, we continued to have questions that were not answered, and this was the absolute worst experience. As families it is our duty to ensure the best care, and he was awful.

Up and left his practice and patients Oct. 2018. Moved on? Was not very interested in results of your blood tests. Liked to chat about other patients.

I really do not recommend seeing this doctor if you are looking for somebody extremely thorough and compassionate. From my experience, he has been very uninterested in my diagnosis and not sympathetic towards my emotions whatsoever. At my first appointment he was very rude when discussing my abnormal weight gain.. Used the expression "dont you want to be beautiful" and "wouldnt you like to date and be confident" in a snarky tone. At my second appointment he was also very quick to get me out of

Dr. Abhijit Chatterjee is a wonderful physician I happened to come across for my parents. He is incredibly kind, patient and helpful to both my parents. He is not only an informed physician, but a wonderful human being. I never met a doctor who took so much time with their patients. We appreciate him so much. If more doctors could follow, this world would be a better place. Thanks again Cindy for (Marie Schembri)

I'm a retired registered nurse who worked in the profession for 47 years. Dr. Chatterjee is the most competent, kind, and compassionate doctor who has ever treated my husband. My husband is afflicted with a variety of illnesses in addition to Type 2 Diabetes. He has a history of stroke and hypertension. Dr. Chatterjee is patient and caring - nothing is too trivial for him to examine and treat. His extensive knowledge of medicines and side effects allows my husband to maintain an active lifestyle

My aunt, Edythe, passed away and my family and myself are so appreciative of Dr. Chatterjee. We did not expect her to live more than 6 months, however with the wonderful care provided by Dr. Chatterjee, she lived for more than a year after her incident. There is no doubt that her lasting over a year more than first expected is in large measure due to the quality of care that she received. Edythe was the beneficiary of the very professional care provided by you and your staff.

My wife and I were patients of Dr. Chatterjee's for 3 years until we moved out of state. He is a very competent physician who takes a personal interest in his patients. We both miss his cheerful demeanor, and of course, his medical care. We believe he serves from the heart.

A note to describe Dr. Chatterjee and his kind staff. When I fell, Dr Chatterjee was unbelievable, he stayed late to see me. He is always reachable by phone even on weekends. Thereafter he called me every morning to see how my recovery was coming along. Everything he did for me was appreciated. ~Shirley~
