Get referred to another GI Dr.
Dr. Thannoun is possibly the worst doctor I’ve unfortunately encountered. His bedside manners are a relict from the past (poor), and he genuinely DOES NOT care about his patients, only what insurance you have, or don’t have. Save yourself a trip, and just seek a better GI doctor.

Been going to Dr. Thannoun for a long time now but this past year I have not been able to get my medication for ulcerative colitis and knew about me not having my medication and has not done anything about it and I have gotten real sick again

Have had initial consultation, colonoscopy, and follow up. No real complaints about his performance, but no one called with pathology results and the wait at his office is ridiculous.

Waited for almost an hour to see him. Staff said he was at the hospital due to having 2 procedures...why schedule appointments if MD or staff dont know when he will be done?? He didnt even apologize for making everyone wait. Waiting room was packed! Not personable at all! Rude and just walked out of room when he was done talking, I didn't even know my visit was over, so I sat there like a dummy until nurse starting scheduling next appointment with me. Do not recommend him at all.

Dr. Thannoun performed a scope on my daughter while she was awake. He obviously also has no sense of time, and his bedside manner is atrocious.
