Compassionate, professional, very knowledgeable
I went in to see Dr Abbassi because I was having terrible stomach and GI issues and he had treated me 7 years ago in the hospital. His office is inviting and comfortable with excellent parking. The ladies at the front desk are professional and incredibly compassionate and extremely helpful. My appointment was on time, and the nurse was kind and proficient. Dr Abbassi came in and spent a great deal of time with me and we decided to schedule a double in 2 days at 6am. Checkout was incredibly fast and informative. On my procedure day, I was brought back before 6am. The nurse was attentive, kind, and exceptional. My procedure (this is my 5th double and 7th colonoscopy) was the best experience I have had in this unpleasant situation. The anesthesiologist was thorough and calming, the surgical nurse kind and efficient.when Dr Abbassi arrived I was put under, I woke up with my nurse feeling relaxed and left knowing I was in the best of hands and reconfirmed that he is still the best.

Been to doctor and still no answers.
I have visited this doctor several times.Started out good.Got upper Gi and colonoscopy.I have acid reflux and very very bad breath. I also have a hetal hernia. All he said was take my acid reflux medication.Same thing he tell me every time I go.Before I was called back I could see him going in different rooms seeing patients. Each room he went in he was coming out so quick.Same for me when I got there. All he did was go over my upper GI and colonoscopy from a year earlier .I left not knowing no more than when I came.A whole year later my doctor wanted me to see him again..I asked him do he think the hetal hernia causing my breath? He said no and he wouldn’t recommend surgery .He seem frustrated with me asking questions.Didn’t offer any suggestions or anything..This hurt so bad to suffer from bad breath every day with proper dental care and you go to him for help and all you get is nothing.

Colonoscopy cancelled by Patient - NOT TRUE
Accounting decided to wait 72 hours before procedure to advise $125 co payment more critical and important than 60 day internal bleed.II advised my heatth care spending for 2023 was exhausted….Dr Abbassi ‘s Team not compassionate for Senior Emergency Care vs low income senior ability to payI had office visit two weeks prior to procedure scheduling and was given instruction for pre procedure readiness. Office very poor in administration and client responsibility which is potentially is a reflection of Dr ability to effectively manage practiceMy referral exceeds 60 days but accounting was extreme inefficient in performing cost for Healthcare Client Responsibility. As information this is my third procedure in 14 years but is the first to advise no co pay no service. Service Rating pre surgery office staff / Accountants POOR

DO NOT GO HERE. these folks care more about billibg you and prescribing you for things that you don't need rather than actually listening to you the patient, doing their research and properly looking at your health history to treat you properly. I was "diagnosed" with an ailment prescribed medication but never eas it filled. I had to call several times and make a visit to the office just to get my prescription filled. The nurse practioner did not have the knowledge base to translate the doctors diagnoses, she was not knowledgeabke to answer questions and ectually google most of the answers before staying that I should return and make an appointment with the actual doctor. The doctor DOES NOY SPEND TIME getting to know his patient or understand their plight. You pay your copay only to visit with the doctor for 3-5 minutes then get a surprising additional bill which should not be the case. They are VERY UNORGANIZED. This is a bandaid office. Find another office to visit your health is your wealth

After my follow up visit with Dr.Abbassi after my colonoscopy, I was left with no information and was rushed out of his office. He came across cocky and interrupted many of my questions. I was experiencing extreme symptoms of weight loss, pain, and much more. He did not listen to anything I had to say and said he would see me in 6 weeks. The next day I was in the ER, admitted to the hospital and ended up staying their for 5 weeks. Dr. Abbassi visited new in the hospital and told me that the excruciating pain was in my head, he saw no reason for me being in the hospital and I should be discharged immediately. After disagreeing and firing Dr. Abbassi a couple days later he barged into my room (knowing he was let go) asking medical questions and was disrespectful to me and my mother. Less than 2 weeks from seeing Dr. Abbassi at our original follow up appointment I had to have emergency surgery. My colon had become distended and was days away from rupturing. I would be dead with Dr.Abbassi.

The first visit went well. I felt like he heard me when other GI doctors wanted to label me with IBS. He ordered tests that no one else ordered and really appeared to care and want to get to the bottom of what was going on. After my endoscopy and colonoscopy came back relatively normal but my blood work showed abnormalities, he wanted to do a capsule endoscopy but my insurance will not approve it unless I have GI bleeding. I have not heard from him since March and my condition is not improving. He has basically abandoned me and I have hit a wall with him. Also, after only my 2nd office visit, I felt like he was giving up on me because he said that I wasn't severe enough and it was probably "just IBS" like all the other doctors have called it. He reneged on everything he said in our first visit. I went out to the car and broke down. I am very unhappy that he hasn't suggested any alternative tests. I cannot afford the capsule endoscopy out-of-pocket because I'm not working.

Dr. Abbassi was so helpful when my mother was in the hospital. During a very stressful time he helped to ease the stress by having a handle on the medical issues. He was so knowledgeable and his bedside manner is excellent! His staff is wonderful as well! I called to schedule a follow up appointment and Katie helped me even though I called the wrong office! I would absolutely recommend him!
